Story
Meet Gracie! The Sweetest Little Pug with a Big Heart** Say hello to Gracie, a charming and resilient 5-6 month old Pug who has already captured the hearts of everyone she meets. Found running down a busy street chasing cars, Gracie has shown incredible spirit and joy despite her past trauma, which resulted in a bulging eye that will soon be removed. This happy little girl weighs just 8.4 pounds and is bursting with energy, love, and playful curiosity. She loves toys and can turn anything into her favorite plaything! Gracie is using potty pads at the sanctuary and will need some potty training at home. She will be spayed is currently vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea-treated — all set for her new adventure. Gracie is looking for a home with experienced pug or brachycephalic dog owners who understand her special needs. Once her eye is removed and she’s healed, she will need leash training, and she’ll need to have a playful canine companion to keep her company. Despite her energetic nature, she’s a sweetheart who will happily settle in your lap once she’s tired out. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this adorable girl, Gracie is ready to light up your life! Story
Robbie is an adorable boy! He is a 1-year-old, 19-pound, cream colored, smooth coated, Pug mix (with maybe some Chihuahua). He has the longest curled tail! Robbie was found as a stray by one of our regular dog walkers. He had been roaming her neighborhood and she didn’t have the heart to leave him on the streets. He is sweet, affectionate, and playful! Robbie can be a little on the hyper side as he is a PUG! He does have personality plus. He would be fine as an only dog with lots of human interaction. If there is another dog in the home he is best matched with a calmer dog. He loves toys when you engage him. He loves walks and behaves well on leash. He loves car rides and rides well in the car. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body and will delight an active family. He is neutered, microchipped and currently vaccinated. This sweet boy is ready to make your family complete. Story
Have you heard the phrase, a face only a mother could love? Well, let us introduce you to the inspiration for it. Meet Guppy! This little guy may not have won the genetics lottery, but what he lacks in looks he makes up for in charm. He could be a pug mix, he could not be. Perhaps bulldog? Only a DNA test will reveal the truth. Do we really know his age? Could he be 2 or 7, who is to say? He was born without his right eye, has a uniquely shaped head, a major underbite, and an endearing wobbly walk. He came to us from the California Central Valley with a few other pugs after his owner went into a nursing home without a care plan. Guppy is looking for a home where he can chew on toys, lounge the day away, and follow his person like a shadow. Hes crate-trained, and while hes still working on potty training, a consistent routine will help him get back on track after being shuffled around these last few weeks. He's good with confident cats and dogs of all sizes, but we suspect he would be happy as an only-dog, too. If youre searching for a quirky, one-of-a-kind companion, Guppy just might be the pug for you! He's being fostered in Rohnert Park through The Pug Hotel.

Story
This 6-month-old puppy is truly something special. When he first came to us, Jett was terrified of human touch, so much so that even gentle pets felt overwhelming. With time, patience, and a whole lot of love, he spent 12 days quietly observing from his foster home before finally coming out of his shell. Since then, hes been blossoming more and more every day. Once Jett trusts you, he becomes your little shadow. He bonds quickly with other dogs and gains confidence from them, so were looking for a home with another friendly dog who can help guide him and show him the ropes. Jett has a silly, joyful puppy personality. He loves backyard zoomies and is incredibly sweet. He adores other dogs, happily following them around, licking their ears, and occasionally stealing a toy or two. Hes mostly potty trained, though like many rescue dogs, a brief regression is normal when adjusting to a new environment. What he needs most is a home willing to give him time and patience, so he can fully understand that hes finally safe and home. He does well with cats, largely ignoring them, and has met kids. We believe hed thrive best with older children who can respect his space as he continues to build confidence. Jett will be neutered on Tuesday, January 20, and will also receive his microchip and vaccinations.
