Story
Meet Fig Your New Best Friend in the Making Fig is a sweet, soulful pup who's ready for a fresh start. This 1-to-3-year-old male came to us from the shelter after a tough beginning where he was used for breeding. Despite his past, Fig's heart is wide open and eager to love. With a unique butterscotch-chocolate coat and a tall-but-small build, Fig turns heads everywhere he goes. Hes also a bit of a pirate puphe had an underdeveloped eye that we removed for his comfort, and hes feeling so much better now. Fig is incredibly cuddly and loyal to his people. He thrives on affection and just wants to be closeon your lap, by your side, or curled up next to you. He's still working on his social skills and learning that the world isnt such a scary place. Because of this, Fig would do best in a calm, patient home where someone is around most of the time to help him feel secure and continue building his confidence. If youre looking for a loving, gentle companion and are ready to offer a little extra TLC, Fig just might be the perfect fit. Hes been through a lotbut with the right person, hes ready to bloom.

Story
This lively 9-month-old pug is full of personality and ready to find her forever home. With a playful spirit and an outgoing nature, Sassy would thrive in a house with a yard where she can run, jump, and enjoy the outdoors. Shes also a social butterfly, so shed love to have another dog to play with and keep her company. She can have some alpha tendencies with other female dogs but responds when you check her behavior and with on-going training should improve. She is fully potty trained, wants to sleep on your pillow at night and will follow you everywhere. Sassy is incredibly active and loves being the center of attention, always eager to make new friends and join in on the fun. While she may not be the best fit for a home with cats, her loving, energetic demeanor will brighten up any dog-loving household. If you're looking for a fun, energetic companion, Sassy could be the perfect match for you!
