Story
Winston is a great dog. I adopted him from a breeder when he was 1.5 years old, she wanted to show him but said he was “too long.” He is good with kids and very gentle. Winston is good with other dogs. When we got Winston he wasn’t house broken but now he is great with using a doggy door. He sometimes will mark, so we use a belly band for him when we know we can’t watch him fully. When we only had him, we noticed that he never marked but as soon as we got another dog he started marking again and we went back to using the belly bands. We now have two small kids and work a lot, so don’t have time to play with him or walk him. We want him to go to a loving home where people can be more attentive to him and give him the love he deserves.

Story
ATTN: Extremely affectionate soul will kiss you endlessly & attach herself to you at all times. If PDA is problematic, please reconsider applying. Meet Mary, (short for Marionberry), a 10 yo chi/pug/maybe corgi blend (best guess.) Mary’s the perfect companion for someone looking for a quiet and ever-abiding friend. We picked her up from the shelter a few weeks ago and she’s been nothing short of wonderful. She’s kennel/potty/leash trained, eats anything you place in front of her (currently on Evermore), & doesn’t have a whiff of separation anxiety, (she’ll happily nap while you are away.) She’s spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, & on pest prevention. She’s had lab work and is getting her dental this week. Overall, she’s in better shape than most of us. She likes her leisurely walks but there’s no denying that pep in her step. She's great with men/women, older kids. She'll need a home where she's the only pet as she can be a little spicy with others ( needs a little socialization.)

Story
Have you heard the phrase, a face only a mother could love? Well, let us introduce you to the inspiration for it. Meet Guppy! This little guy may not have won the genetics lottery, but what he lacks in looks he makes up for in charm. He could be a pug mix, he could not be. Perhaps bulldog? Only a DNA test will reveal the truth. Do we really know his age? Could he be 2 or 7, who is to say? He was born without his right eye, has a uniquely shaped head, a major underbite, and an endearing wobbly walk. He came to us from the California Central Valley with a few other pugs after his owner went into a nursing home without a care plan. Guppy is looking for a home where he can chew on toys, lounge the day away, and follow his person like a shadow. Hes crate-trained, and while hes still working on potty training, a consistent routine will help him get back on track after being shuffled around these last few weeks. He's good with confident cats and dogs of all sizes, but we suspect he would be happy as an only-dog, too. If youre searching for a quirky, one-of-a-kind companion, Guppy just might be the pug for you! He's being fostered in Rohnert Park through The Pug Hotel.

Story
Little Bear is looking for his forever home! This very special puppy was just 24 hours old when we took him in with his siblings and their 10-month-old mom Ruby. She rejected the litter, and after a few days, he was the only puppy who survived. Bottle-fed and raised by humans from day one, Little Bear is super loving, incredibly sweet, and so beautifully balanced. He leans into his people for comfort and love, and it has shaped him into the softest, most trusting little soul. Our team is heavily invested in this puppy, and it's going to take a special adopter to allow us to say goodbye. For his first five weeks, he was the only puppy, but he found companionship with Matilda, a disabled puppy we also took in. He truly blossomed with her, learning how to play, cuddle, and just be a puppy. He also spent time with adult pugs, chasing their ankles, stealing their toys, and taking corrections well. He's currently being fostered with a human baby and child and doing really well around them. Hes litter box trained with paper pellets, in perfect health, and full of joyful puppy energy. He loves tiny soft toys, happy little hops around the house, and when hes sleepy, he melts right into you. What were looking for in his forever home: A young canine companion, an active lifestyle, and patient humans who are home often to provide consistency, socialization, and thoughtful training. This little boy deserves nothing less than the absolute best. Hell be ready to go home in mid-March with his first two vaccine sets and a microchip. Adopters must sign a neuter contract and commit to completing his puppy vaccine schedule.

Story
Captain Monocle earned his name at the shelter after having one eye removed due to an injury, but dont let that fool you. This wonderful young adult doesnt miss a beat. Hes fully potty trained, incredibly social, active, and endlessly loving. He has a playful, puppy-like spirit and loves to give gentle love bites, so in a home with young kids, hell do best with supervision and guidance to help everyone learn how to interact respectfully with a mouthy, playful pug. At the dog park, hes the life of the party, happily playing with everyone and confidently ruling the scene. He adores his toys, enjoys a good play-fight, and thrives with canine companionship. He especially loves spending time with his foster pug siblings, so a home with another dog would be ideal for him to grow and play alongside. True to his pug nature, he snores loudly, follows you from room to room, and insists on being wherever the action and attention are. Hes a bit of a digger and isnt shy about nudging his way to the front if another dog is getting pets first. He wants his share of love, too. Captain Monocle is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and currently fostered in Sacramento. Hes a big-hearted love bug, and whoever welcomes him home will be incredibly lucky.

Story
Buggie was a stray in need of lots of TLC. She was malnourished and had a previous eye injury that left her in pain. She has endured so much and still craves love. She is blind, and sometimes she flinches at unexpected touch. But once she feels comfortable with you all she wants is to be near you, play, and get all of the belly rubs! She will actually somersault onto her back to be in prime position for scratches. She loves walks, car rides, anything she can be apart of! She LOVES to play with toys, and tuck herself completely under blankets for optimal warmth. She does the classic boston terrier snorts when she plays or is excited, and her snore is soft and cute. She is not a fan of other dogs. As her vision worsened, it became apparent the best thing for her is to be the only dog in a home. This girl is so so special, and only about 5 years old. She has so much life left to live and wants to live it! She needs someone special to love her & never abandon her again. Apply for more info
