Story
Meet Hazel Hazel is a 7‑year‑old, 24‑pound “Jug” — a Jack Russell Terrier / Pug mix — and she is truly a delight. Surrendered by a Lancaster commercial breeder when she was no longer wanted, Hazel is now ready for a future filled with love, fun, and comfort. Hazel has quickly become a playgroup star in our care. She is friendly with other dogs, social, and confident, and she brings a happy, easygoing energy wherever she goes. With people, Hazel is just as wonderful — affectionate, friendly with all our volunteers, and always happy to soak up attention. Described best as a happy‑go‑lucky little potato, Hazel has that perfect blend of charm, personality, and sweetness that makes her impossible not to love. She enjoys companionship, does well in social settings, and would thrive in a home that appreciates her joyful spirit and friendly nature. Hazel is looking for a loving family to spoil her and celebrate her for exactly who she is. If you’re searching for a fun, affectionate dog who gets along well with others and brings smiles wherever she goes, Hazel may be your perfect match. She would need to meet any resident dogs. She will come spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. She also already had a dental and is scheduled to address her cherry eye. She can be adopted while she waits for her appointment and the rescue will remain responsible for the cost of the cherry eye (Scheduled for 4/7) If you are serious about adoption, please fill out the adoption application on our website www.phoenixanimalrescue.com Her adoption fee is $500. Phoenix Animal Rescue Chester Springs, PA Kennel License #5152

Story
Toast is a 2-year-old pug with a huge personality packed into a small, wrinkly body. She is incredibly social and loves everyone she meets. If you’re looking for a dog that wants to be involved in everything you do, she is your girl. She loves other dogs and would do great with a playful canine friend. She has been around cats and even chickens and completely ignores them — she’s way more interested in toys, zoomies, and her people. She absolutely loves kids, but she can be a little mouthy when she gets excited and plays, so she would do best with older kids who can redirect playful dog behavior. She is not fully potty trained yet, so her future family will need to be patient and consistent while she learns. The good news is she’s very smart and very food motivated. Her favorite things include: • Toys (all of them) • Running zoomies around the yard • Going for walks and staying active • Sleeping in bed with her people • Being extremely dramatic about waking up in the morning She has a lot of energy for a pug and would do best with a family that will play with her, walk her, and keep her busy — followed by lots of couch snuggles, of course. She’s funny, affectionate, dramatic, playful, and full of personality. If you want a dog that will make you laugh every single day and be your little shadow, she’s the one. ADOPTION PROCESS 1.
