OCEAN BREEZE is an 8 month old MinPin/Pug mix (birthday January 2026) who has had a rough start in life. She was rescued by a good Samaritan when someone was giving her away in a parking lot and then her savior had a stroke. Breeze is a little shy at first meeting but quickly warms up. She would love another young active dog to play with. Seeking a family who can get her out and about to experience new things and help her confidence grow! At 23 pounds, she’s a great travel size! Breeze has been spayed, microchipped and is on heartworm/flea tick prevention. She is ready to go home with you! Story
Hi!  My name is Molly and I am looking for a forever home.  I was surrendered to a small rescue after my previous owners didn't want to keep me in the house, didn't have a fenced yard for me to stay safe in and lived near a busy street.  Fortunately, a neighbor saw how they treated me and was able to talk them in to giving me to the rescue.  A volunteer with that rescue then contacted BCAA to see if they could help me and they said yes!  I appear to be a small pug mix and the vet thinks I'm around 10mos to a year old and I only weigh a little under 11lbs and shouldn't get too much bigger.  I am shy when I first meet new people but my foster parents have been really nice to me and I have learned I can trust them; now I love getting attention and take treats gently from them.  I have gotten along with all of the other dogs I have met and haven't bothered those things called cats.  I have shared my crate with my friend Maggie who is just a little bigger than me without any issues and we love to wrestle and play; we also eat side by side without a problem as we both love our food and finish about the same time.  I've done well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of any bedding but would really prefer to be out with you.  I'm still learning the leash-thing but with some time and practice I should get it down, especially since it means I get to be with my person.  If you would like to learn more about me or meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org. Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application! Meet Dug the pug! Dug is a 2 yrs old pug who weighs 21 lbs. Dug is up to date with all his vaccines. Dug the pug is silly, affectionate and feisty at the same time. He love to play with his favorite squeaky ball. He loves to take his walks and does well on the leash. Although, he does get a little reactive when he sees other dogs. Dug is house and crate trained, making him a easy addition to the right household.  Dug would do best in a household with adults only -No small children and needs to be the only pet. Come meet Dug he is ready to find his forever home. Dug is neutered, up to date with vaccines and microchipped. He tested negative for heartworm, but did test positive for Lyme and is on a 30 day course of Doxycycline just to be on the safe side. He is now on monthly heartworm prevention and flea and tick prevention. RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama toI the Pennsylvania/ New England/ Virginia area and delivered in Pennsylvania, Virginia and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 150.00 deposit required for dogs and 50.00 for cats. Due at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the deposit comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog.
