Story
Hello, my name is Gordie! I am a young fun Puggle, and have a very mischevious personality! I tend to be a very nosy dog, and want to get into all sorts of good things. I like different items, different textures, and love exploring with my mouth! Sometimes, I like exploring so much that I end up with these mystery items in my tummy! I just can't seem to help myself because I get so curious, I need to taste the good stuff and chew on interesting things. It's safe to say I'll need a pretty clean home and taught some proper boundaries, but I'm already used to being in a crate and it's something that will need to be implemented moving forward. I am a very busy and energetic dog, and need a very busy, fun, and active household. I do well with all people, dogs, cats, you name it, I'm a very social butterfly! I am a bit of a wild child, so while I can go home with dogs and cats, they will need to be ones that can tolerate my high energy and pushy and eager personality, because I can be quite the assertive guy. I think a home without kiddos would be best, not because I don't like them, but because of the training I need, I think it'll be easier and more consistent with mature humans in the home. I would love a home with someone who is active and will keep me busy busy busy. I am quite the character and know I will make you smile and laugh a lot. If you think you have the time, energy, and patience for a little firecracker like myself, then please fill out an adoption application!Check out Gordie on Tiktok! https://tinyurl.com/mtcuh7tf

Story
Hi there, I'm Bobby. I'm a seasoned citizen with a heart full of love and a nose full of curiosity. I came to the shelter with my brother Brady. Although we don't have to go home together, we do really love each other and I get a little lonely without him there. If you happen to be interested in adopting me AND Brady you would get two of us for the price of ONE! WOW what a steal! Adopt me and get Brady for free...or the other way around. I wouldn't mind either way, if my BFF got to come to my new home too!I'm quite the chatterbox, always ready for a good conversation. I'm gentle and love to go for all the walkies, but I've got my goofy moments too. I love my privacy (and I'm known to be able to JUMP a 5' fence!), so a home with a privacy fence is my dream. I do need to be crated when you're away, it's my safe space. I may not be a young pup anymore, but I've got so much love to give.

Story
Hello, friend! I'm Brady, a senior fellow with a heart full of love. I came to the shelter with my brother Bobby. Although we don't have to go home together, we do really love each other and I get a little lonely without him there. If you happen to be interested in adopting me AND Bobby you would get two of us for the price of ONE! WOW what a steal! Adopt me and get Bobby for free...or the other way around. I wouldn't mind either way, if my BFF got to come to my new home too!As for me...I'm as friendly as they come, always ready to greet you with a wagging tail. My curious nature keeps me exploring, sniffing out new adventures in every corner (although I prefer those adventures not to take up too much of my energy as I get tired a little faster these days).I'm gentle and mellow, content to sit by your side and share quiet moments. I do love a good chat, though! I can't help but voice my thoughts, so I'm not suited for apartment living. A home with a privacy fence is my dream (and because I can scale a 4' chain link in seconds!), a place where I can roam freely but safely. Adopting me means embracing a loyal companion who will offer unconditional love and a peaceful presence. I can't wait to find my forever home with you (and maybe Bobby too!) !

Story
This fun boy was part of a forced surrender group but he shows no mean signs of his neglect. He is friendly and a lot of fun. He loves to play!! Definite terrier energy and a great boy to hang around with. He loves people and other dogs, although his barking to get others to play with him does tend to have the opposite effect. He is not mean and does well sharing. He likes any sort of toy but does have a short attention span with them. He would do well with any type of household but will need the basic training of being inside, we don’t think he was inside at all. He does spill his food out and will chew any bed given to him, it will take some time for him to get used to any of that. A house with kids that like to run and play would work great with him or any active family that can wear him out. He is a love and is waiting to share it all with a new family to call his own. We also use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

We do our best to provide information that will help determine if the animal might be a good fit for you. Please note that behaviors may change in a home environment. We also ask our applicants to assume that any animal they adopt from us will need to be potty-trained and learn house manners, although this is not always the case. In most cases, the listed breeds are also a best guess. Our online animal bios are designed to provide as much information as possible and answer some anticipated questions. We do not have the resources to respond to emails with more specific questions. We are receiving an unusually high number of applications at this time! Applications are reviewed as they are received, but we do not select adopters on a first-come basis. Our job is to ensure each pet is placed into the best fit home for them and that adopters are paired with an animal that is a good fit for their lifestyle. All animals will stay on Petfinder until they are “pending adoption”. Therefore, if an animal is still listed, we are still accepting applications for him/her! Please do not send inquiries about a specific animal's availability as this can change quickly over the course of the day. The fastest way to get a response is to simply submit an application! We will do our best to notify you by email if the pet(s) you are interested in are no longer available. New animals are posted daily, so please let us know if another furry friend peak your interest (there is no need to fill out a second application)! Fill out the application (DOG: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=dr1937&method=online_form_html&formid=26, CAT: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=dr1937&method=online_form_html&formid=41, EXOTICS: https://us14b.sheltermanager.com/onlineform_view?formid=46) completely.
