Story
Meet Mi Amor! Mi Amor is a 3-year-old Pug–Shih Tzu mix who weighs about 18 pounds and has a big personality packed into a small, adorable body. She’s an affectionate little girl who loves to play, cuddle, and follow her favorite person around the house. Mi Amor is great with kids and enjoys spending time outdoors or just relaxing by your side. She’s been the only pet in her home, so it’s unknown how she’ll do with other animals but with her loving nature, she just might make new furry friends with a little time and patience. She’s house-trained, loyal, and full of love to give. Her favorite things include playing with kids, going outside, and curling up near her owner for a nap. Mi Amor is being rehomed due to her current owner’s busy schedule, and we’re hoping to find her a home where she’ll receive the time, attention, and affection she deserves. She truly has so much love to share — and she’s ready to share it with her new family.

Story
Meet Pocus! Pocus is an 8-month-old female Pug mix with a big personality packed into her little frame. This goofy girl loves to zoom around the yard and her absolute favorite game is chasing and playing with the other dogs in her foster home. She will definitely keep you laughing with her silly antics! Pocus was found as a stray running along a country road, so she’s quick and curious. Because she does not walk on a leash, she will require a fully fenced yard for her safety, as well as another playful dog in the home to be her companion. She does great with other dogs but can get a bit possessive of treats, so a family that understands and can manage this will be best. Pocus does not live with cats or children, so her behavior with them is unknown. This sweet girl isn’t a fan of the vacuum—when it comes out, she runs off to hide until it’s safe again. She is crate trained, has only rare potty accidents, and has already learned some basic commands in her foster home such as “sit,” “no,” and “off.” Pocus is ready for a loving home that will embrace her goofy, playful nature and give her the security she deserves. Could she be the perfect new addition to your family? She is spayed, vaccinated, micro chipped, and is on monthly fleece/tick and heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $400 Please follow the link below for her adoption application. Note: applicants must live within one hour of Toledo, Ohio. http://www.dogworksohio.com/adoption-application.html

Story
Meet Hocus! Hocus is an adorable 8-month-old female pug mix weighing in at just 6 pounds. She and her sister were found wandering along a country road, and now this sweet little girl is ready to find a forever home of her own. Hocus is shy when first meeting new people, but once she feels safe, her playful personality shines through. She loves to run, play, and would be happiest in a quieter home with one or two friendly fur siblings to keep her company. Large groups of dogs can feel overwhelming for her, so a calmer environment will help her thrive. Since she was found running as a stray, a fully fenced yard is required for her safety. Hocus will also need a home with no cats. She has not been around children, so it is unknown how she would do in that setting. One of Hocus’s most endearing quirks is how much she loves to be held—like a baby! She will curl up in your arms and drift right off to sleep, melting hearts in the process. Hocus is crate trained and has only rare potty accidents, making her an easy companion to have around the home. If you’re looking for a small, affectionate pup who will bring both playfulness and cuddles into your life, Hocus may be the perfect match! She is spayed, up-to-date on age, appropriate vaccinations, micro chipped, and is on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $400.
