She gets around just fine and has the sweetest little limp that only adds to her charm. When Navi first arrived at The Asher House, we were told she had been surrendered after reportedly biting a service worker in her previous home. We believe it’s important to share that history, but it’s equally important to share our own experience with her. Since coming to the sanctuary, Navi has been around our team of more than 75 staff members and has never shown any aggression toward anyone. She has never growled, attempted to bite, or given us any reason to believe she’s anything other than a shy little dog who needs time to feel safe. As she’s settled in, we’ve watched her confidence grow, her personality blossom, and her sweet, loving nature shine through. Navi isn’t looking for perfection—she’s looking for patience. She needs someone who will allow her to build trust at her own pace and give her the love and reassurance she’s been searching for. Once she feels safe, we believe she has everything it takes to become an incredibly loyal and loving companion. Navi enjoys playing with other dogs, but she can play a little too enthusiastically for some pups.
