This petite 9 yo F pug escaped from a backyard breeder who was, quite literally, breeding her to death. She was skinny, malnourished & had other medical issues that were addressed surgically. Since arriving at her foster “mom’s” home, she has known nothing but unconditional love & acceptance. Devon rapidly put on weight, healed from her surgeries, & blossomed into the absolute sweetest of pugs. She is happy & playful. Devon loves cuddles, snuggling with people or other dogs, even cats (if they will let her). She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. This compact gal is a stunning example of what rescue is all about. Now all Devon needs is her forever home for the fairy tale ending she so richly deserves. Ima, a petite pug LOADED with personality! Ima is an adorably compact young adult F pug who was rescued from an abusive living situation in Laredo, TX. You’d never know her past from her sunny, snorty demeanor. She loves everything….except for domineering little male dogs that try to get in her face or too close to her backside. Having been used as a backyard breeder puppy factory, she assertively makes it known that those days are done! In all other instances, she is friendly & happy-go-lucky: with humans of all ages/sizes, other dogs, and cats. Ima delights in giving stuffies the “what for”, showing them who is boss. Crazy zooming sessions are elicited by vigorously scritching her butt (which also loosens a storm of ‘pug glitter’ 😂). In play, she will often grasp her buddy’s tail & then twerk with glee. Penny is a a love bug. A happy, curious, FRIENDLY, playful, active little dog who is part Pug and part Chihuahua. She is approximately 7-8 months old. She looks more like a Pug. She loves everyone.She is spayed, up to date on her shots, is chipped, and checked out as healthy by the vet.This little lady will keep you in stitches with her goofy antics. She is working on potty training but isn’t there yet although she does well with the pee pads at night.The biggest problem with Penny is that she absolutely cannot stand her feet being touched, making nail trims difficult.Other than that, Penny is our love and excited about everything in her world.

Dolly is an exceptional family pup. She is crate trained and potty trained. She likes riding in the truck and go for walks. She likes other dogs and cats that like playful pups. She likes all people. She loves her dog bed, her toys, hanging out on human couches and playing with other dogs. She is a Puggle (mixed breed) and not sure what her other breeds are since she was found as a stray but will definately be under 35 lbs as an adult with her current weight and paw size. San Antonio area has over 800,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. We’re guessing she may be a Chihuahua/pug mix, though her breed is our best guess. Whatever went into making this little face, it worked. She is wonderful meeting new people and happily welcomes their affection. There’s no elaborate introduction needed—some sweet talk and a gentle hand are a lovely place to start. Before long, she will happily show you where the belly rubs go. Her favorite place is in your lap and snuggling under your chin. At home, Torta settles in beautifully.
