Meet the Spice Girls! Their mama was taken in by a loving family shortly before they discovered she was pregnant. Her previous owners had surrendered her to the shelter, and thankfully, a wonderful family stepped up to give her a safe place to have and raise her babies. They worked hard to help Mama and her five daughters thrive while a rescue was found to help these girls find responsible, loving homes. Mama, believed to be a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu mix, has now been spayed and is happily staying with the family who opened their hearts to her. Dad is a mystery, but based on these adorable pups, we suspect he may have had some Pug in his family tree!  At 10 weeks old, these five girls are busy, playful, curious, and absolutely adorable. We expect them to remain small, likely under 20 pounds full grown. They would be wonderful additions to just about any family ready for the fun, patience, commitment, and joy that comes with raising a puppy. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on Instagram (@nwdogproject) for updates! Meet Moose! If you’re looking for a fun-loving, energetic little sidekick, Moose might just be your guy! This adorable 25 lb. Frenchie/Pug mix is packed with personality, zoomies, and enough cuteness to get away with almost anything. Moose can be a little shy when he first meets you and may need a moment to decide that you’re his kind of people. But once he warms up, you’ll see the sweet, cuddly, affectionate guy hiding underneath that initial hesitation. When Moose gets really excited, he has a funny little way of saying, “PAY ATTENTION TO ME!” — he’ll jump up and give your hands some enthusiastic little nips. They aren’t painful or aggressive, but because he can get a little mouthy when he’s excited, we think a home with older, dog-savvy children 8 and over would be the best fit for him. And when it comes to other dogs? Moose is a social butterfly! He does wonderfully with both big and small dogs and would love having a canine friend to play with. We haven’t cat-tested him just yet but we can if your home has any feline friends for him to play with. More than anything, Moose wants to be wherever you are. Going for a car ride? He’s in. Running errands? He’s ready. Watching TV on the couch? He’ll happily be your cuddle buddy. He’s the kind of dog who wants to be included in all of life’s adventures. Once Moose decides you’re his person, prepare yourself for a tiny, goofy, energetic shadow with a whole lot of love to give.
