Story
HI - WE'RE BASIL & ROSEMARY! We're sweet & adorable Pugs in need of a forever home. We were rescued from a crowded California shelter, where we were separated for awhile. Now we're back together in the same foster home and are so happy! We are very bonded so need to be adopted together. We are both about 8 or 9 years old. We get along great with other dogs and I love people, too! I (Rosemary) am only 11 lbs, and Basil is only 5 lbs! Please email for an application.

Story
Meet Bandit – Cuddly, Clever, and Full of Character! 🐾 Bandit is a 1-year-old mixed breed with a big heart, a playful spirit, and adorable underbite. He’s smart, affectionate, and loves being close to his person—couch cuddles and puzzle toys are his jam! He’s got a fun, goofy side, but also a strong personality. Bandit does resource guard, so he’ll need an experienced home where boundaries are respected, and training is continued. He does like playing with other dogs and cuddling his feline housemate though! He’s also nervous around men, so a female-led home or one with slow, respectful introductions to men would be ideal. Fully house-trained and crate-trained, Bandit is looking for someone who understands him and is ready for a loyal companion. For the right person, Bandit will be a loving, lifelong shadow. Story
Meet Lulu Breed: Pug Date of Birth: June 3, 2024 Gender: Female (Spayed) Weight: 10 pounds Personality Lulu is a delightful little Pug with a spunky and silly personality that never fails to bring joy to those around her. Her playful antics and mischievous spirit make every day an adventure. Lulu is incredibly affectionate and loves to be the center of attention, showering her family with love and laughter. Her friendly and outgoing nature makes her a wonderful companion for people of all ages. Breed Information Pugs are known for their charming and distinctive appearance, with their wrinkled faces and curly tails. Despite their small size, they have big personalities and are often described as a lot in a little. Pugs are affectionate, loyal, and thrive on human companionship. They are relatively low-maintenance when it comes to exercise but do require a lot of love and attention. What to Expect As an owner of a Pug like Lulu, you can expect a loving and devoted companion. Pugs are known for their strong bonds with their families and their desire to be involved in every aspect of daily life. Lulu will enjoy snuggling up with you on the couch just as much as she enjoys a short play session. Her playful nature means she’ll appreciate toys and interactive games, but her exercise needs are moderate, making her well-suited to apartment living. Owner's Responsibilities Exercise: Ensure Lulu gets daily exercise through short walks and playtime. While she doesn't require extensive activity, regular movement is important to keep her healthy. Training: Enroll Lulu in basic obedience classes to help her learn commands and socialize with other dogs. Her eagerness to please and clever mind make her a quick learner with positive reinforcement. Grooming: Regular grooming is essential to keep Lulu’s coat healthy and her wrinkles clean. Pay special attention to her facial folds to prevent any skin issues. Health Care: Keep up with regular veterinary visits and vaccinations. Monitor her diet closely to maintain a healthy weight, as Pugs can be prone to obesity due to their love of food. Affection and Socialization: Provide Lulu with plenty of love and opportunities to socialize with other dogs and people. Her sociable nature means she’ll thrive with lots of interaction and companionship. Commitment for Life Adopting Lulu means welcoming a lifelong friend into your home. Pugs like Lulu are not just pets—they become beloved family members who rely on you for love, care, and companionship. The joy and affection she will bring into your life are immeasurable, but it’s important to remember that this commitment extends through her entire life. By choosing Lulu, you’re promising to provide her with a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where she can thrive for years to come.   If you are interested in adopting this amazing dog, please go to our website https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/ and fill out an application.
