Pluto joined us in an unexpected way, while our team was in Lancaster setting up pickups for other dogs, a neighbor asked if we could take him too, as he was no longer wanted. Honestly, we can’t understand why, because Pluto has proven himself to be nothing short of wonderful. From the moment he arrived, Pluto has been a total sweetheart. He’s been social and friendly with our volunteers, greeting people with an easygoing, happy demeanor and quickly winning everyone over. He’s also very easy to handle, making him a great match for a variety of homes. Now, Pluto is ready for his fresh start with a family who will never question his worth. He’s the kind of dog who will fit right into a loving home and remind you every day what a special companion he is. This beautiful girl is on a weight loss journey, but she loves her walks and is already trimming down. She also likes to play with squeaky toys. Watching her happily squeak them, tail wagging, has been such a joy! Zoey is house trained, crate trained, and super snuggly. She’s happiest cuddled up to her person on the couch and would make a great work-from-home buddy. Zoey has done well with other low-key dogs. She even did well with the cats she was introduced to!As comes with age, Zoey has some arthritis, but it hasn’t slowed her down much. She is a good dog very sweet just needs to be with someone who has the time to work with her and Let her run and be a jack Russel. I am only rehoming her for her safety. Crazy little girl loves people and most animals. A little dominant and that’s the issue I’m having with my other dogs with her. She will cuddle up on the couch with you and sleep in bed if you let her. She is a barker not going to lie about that. Knows basic commands sit lay down and paw. House trained, crate trained but runs the house no problem. Has some minor summer allergies that can be controlled with Benadryl and needs anal glands expressed once in awhile. She was my mom’s dog and I have had her going on 2 yrs now. My mom always took her everywhere and held her a lot. She is very loving. Full name and Vet reference or don’t even bother contacting. Local surrender Southampton Pa Pa KL5254 Charlie is a neutered male 6 yr old Puggle (pug/beagle mix). He's about 30 lbs. He was recently surrendered through no fault of his own. He has lived with other dogs and children, but perhaps children over 10 years would be best. Charlie is still processing his new living arrangement and follows his foster around the house or lays on the sofa for pets and belly rubs. He's good walking on leash and doesn't bark at other dogs or people. His foster crates him while at work and he barks for a few minutes then settles down.
