Story
Meet sweet Finch. Finch is friendly and a little shy right now as she becomes accustomed to her new temporary home. Based upon her looks, we think that Finch has some Pug and Beagle in her. Finch has a sad "resting" face, but take her on a car ride and be amazed at her transformation! Finch is house trained and crate trained and is enjoying hanging out with her new four legged bestie. We look forward to watching Finch continue to blossom as she gains confidence in knowing that she is on the way to a better, happier life. To meet Finch, fill out an application on our website at wimberleywagrescue.org. Don’t worry—there’s no obligation to adopt when you submit an application!

(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less

Story
Raffi, who is a 2 year old pug, about 12 pounds, and is missing an eye and he is bonded to Paloma, he is a Chinese Crested/poodle mix, and has white silky hair...about 4 years old, weighs 13 pounds, he is partially blind in one eye. We think they originally came from a breeder who could not sell them because of their eyesight so he gave them to an elderly man who did not take good care of them at all. when the elderly man died nobody went over to his house to feed them for a couple of weeks, and finally a neighbor took pity on them and took them into the local veterinarians in Guadalajara. They both were in very bad shape. They need to be an experienced adopter, because Palomo is very anxious about new experiences. So far they do really well with the other dogs here at the rescue and they are fine with the cats and meeting new people
