This wiggle butt wants nothing more than to be by your side. He loves people and loves butt scratches. His little snarfle sounds let you know he loves you. He is the sweetest boy that is sure to entertain you no matter what! He would love to meet you and show you how much love he has to give.

Story
Sitter Needed: 05/28/2024 - 06/03/2024 This distinguished gentleman is looking to settle by a fireplace and watch a good TV show with his people! Bruno is a loving, cuddly, dapper little gentleman ready to steal your heart, and your seat on the couch. He loves being around his people, and to watch you do just about anything. He would love to continue the rest of his days getting lots of love and good petties for being the bestest boy. He will immediately nuzzle into your arm to show you how much he loves and appreciates you. Bruno has started offering us the toys he sees on the ground, to say ""look at this cute fuzzy thing in my mouth!"" and then cuddle up with it. Bruno does have medical conditions that we are treating. He was diagnosed with Cushing Disease, meaning that he drinks a lot of water throughout the day, has some skin issues (not contagious), and needs to wear a diaper at all times. He will remain on Vetoryl to help treat his Cushings. Because of his disease, he is relatively low energy but with medication, he is perking up more! We have seen him slowly climb stairs, and strut his stuff with more gusto. He currently has an ulcer in his left eye that we are treating and it's healing slowly but surely. He would do best in a home with lots of rugs or carpet, and a home with few stairs (or assistance getting up stairs). Bruno doesn't need a lot of outdoor space, though he does love a good romp in the grass. He would do fine with other low energy dogs. We have not seen him around cats. His foster has agreed to donate any useful accessories to his future adopters (diapers, reusable diapers, dog suspenders, medication).

Story
Sweet Amber is another Spindletop survivor from last summer's raid and seizure. They killed her friend Stella who was also boarded there. Amber is a special soul. She is a loving and wonderful companion. She is funny and squatty with her red satin-teen collar and will lay around all day if you let her. She loves watching tv with you and just being with humans. Amber is super trained, does down, leave it, off and walks wonderfully on lead. She is as charming and quirky as they come and a truly special dog. Amber, like all of the Animals First and Reunion Rescue dogs, is crate and house-trained, raw fed and homeopathically treated. We have a wonderful foster to adopt program and lifetime guarantee for all our dogs. Please contact doggirl1@earthlink.net to arrange a meet and greet with Amber at the Reunion Rescue No-Kill Refuge.   Visit Amber on Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/pages/Help-Amber-and-Stella-abused-in-Houston/137819022958959?fref=tsApril 19, 2024, 12:15 am
