Story
Meet Timo Male DOB: October 06, 2025 Weight: 14 pounds (small) Breed: Pug Mix Neutered (Fixed): Pending Vaccines: Up to Date Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Personality, Breed Info & Expectations Timo is a charming young dog with a happy personality, playful spirit, and affectionate nature. At 8 months old, he is still very much a puppy and is at a wonderful age for bonding, learning, and discovering the world around him. He enjoys attention, companionship, and being involved in family activities. Timo is eager to learn and would thrive in a home that can provide structure, guidance, and plenty of love as he continues to mature. As a Pug mix, Timo may show traits such as: A loving and people-oriented personality Playful and affectionate energy Strong attachment to his family Social and companion-focused behavior Intelligence and eagerness to learn Pug mixes are often devoted companions who enjoy being close to their people and thrive when included as part of the family. Timo would thrive in a home prepared for: Continued puppy training and guidance Daily walks and exercise Mental stimulation and enrichment Positive socialization experiences Structure, consistency, and routine A lifelong commitment to his physical and emotional well-being Young dogs require time, patience, training, supervision, and financial commitment as they continue growing and developing. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Many rescue dogs come from uncertain beginnings and may not have had structure, socialization, or training before arriving at rescue. Because of this, most rescue dogs arrive with only basic training at best, and some may have had no formal training at all. Young dogs especially still require continued guidance, structure, patience, and supervision as they mature. The rescue environment itself also does not always allow for extensive one-on-one training. While we work hard to provide safety, structure, socialization, and basic guidance, adopters should expect to continue training and support after adoption. Adopting a young dog means being prepared for: Potty training reinforcement and occasional accidents Leash training and obedience work Jumping and playful puppy behavior Continued socialization and confidence-building Daily exercise, structure, and supervision Routine veterinary care Financial commitment throughout the dog's lifetime Timo will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Daily structure and routine Continued socialization and exposure Exercise and mental stimulation Patience, consistency, and supervision Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience, guidance, and commitment, dogs like Timo blossom into deeply loyal lifelong companions. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Owning a dog is a lifelong commitment that includes training, daily exercise, companionship, routine veterinary care, financial responsibility, and emotional commitment throughout every stage of life. Timo will need: Daily walks, exercise, and interaction Continued training and guidance Routine veterinary care and wellness exams Preventative care including flea, tick, and heartworm prevention Proper nutrition and weight management Mental stimulation and enrichment A safe, stable, indoor living environment Because Timo is still a young dog, consistency and structure are especially important in helping him mature into a confident and well-balanced adult dog. As a Pug mix, care should also be taken during hot weather, and adopters should monitor for overheating during exercise and outdoor activities. Timo is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside. Story
We have had Nala since she was born. Her mom, Lucy, our first pug that we still have. Lucy is the one that whelped her. She is 5 years old, and was born in May of 2021. She recently all the sudden didn’t get along with a couple of her siblings we have. Don’t really know why it changed all the sudden. We love her and going to miss her VERY much! I would like to find a loving home for her that she will be loved, played with, and maybe spoiled a little bit. ;-) For a 5 year old pug she is small, approximately 15 pounds and loves to be played with! For example she love to play fetch with balls (rubber squeaky like in the photo the most). She is great with kids and even though she has a lot of energy, she also likes to sit next to you and snuggle up to your side. If you have a lot of love for dogs and or pugs, she is perfect for you! I just want to find her a good home where she is loved unconditionally! 🥰
