After spending years in an environment where she received little individual attention and had very limited exposure to the world around her, Flo is now facing a whole new life—and it’s a lot for her to take in. Right now, Flo is still learning that people can be kind, that homes can be safe, and that she no longer has to worry about where her next meal or resting place will come from. She is understandably cautious, uncertain, and still trying to figure out who she can trust. While some of the other dogs from her rescue group have settled in more quickly, Flo is taking a little longer to find her footing, and that’s perfectly okay.
