Story
Milo is in need of rehoming due to being able to come with us at our new home. ( Unfortunately our landlord is adamant that we can’t have pets) Milo is an energetic 8 year old that enjoys being around kids and other dogs. He is fully potty trained and crate trained. He is full of personality and loves to cuddle as well!

Story
Meet Fancy! Fancy is a 10-year-old chihuahua ready for her final home in which to retire. Fancy was surrendered by a loving owner who was diagnosed with cancer and unable to care for her anymore. Fancy is an independent, spunky Chi with lots of life left in her! Fancy knows who she is and walks into a room with confidence (after taking some time to settle in). She isn't going to let something as silly as "age" stop her from doing what she wants. Fancy is the happiest girl who loves a belly rub, head pat, and tail-wag. Fancy is also ready for a nap whenever you are. Sleep is her most favorite thing (except maybe breakfast...and dinner). Fancy would do best in a home with older children and would do well with other dogs or as an only dog! Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Mogart is a 6-year-old Boston Terrier with all the classic traits that make this breed so unforgettable—chaotic energy, endless enthusiasm, and a whole lot of personality packed into a small body. This lively guy is looking for a family with no other dogs who can appreciate his quirks, keep up with his zoomies, and help him fine-tune his manners with some basic training. Mogart has a unique sense of humor—he’s been known to enthusiastically test out his leg-hugging skills and enjoys showing off his vocal talents. Underneath all that spunk, Mogart is incredibly sweet and affectionate with everyone he meets. He doesn’t really have an “off” button, but what he does have is a huge heart and a love for life that will keep you smiling every day. If you’re ready for nonstop fun and unconditional love, Mogart is your guy! Mogart currently weighs about 20lbs., is approximately 6 years old (est. birth date 08/20/2019), and his adoption fee is $510. Mogart has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet.
