This sweet 5-year-old, 20-pound Beagle was rescued from a devastating hoarding situation involving 80 other Beagles. Despite her difficult start, Bonbon is a gentle, low-energy girl with so much love to give. She can be a little timid at first and is looking for a patient, understanding adopter who will help her continue building confidence and discovering how wonderful life can be. Bonbon absolutely adores snuggles and loves being held — she truly finds comfort in her people. On walks, she’s every bit the classic beagle, with her nose happily glued to the ground as she takes in all the scents around her. She is still working on her leash skills and would thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard where she can explore safely. Another friendly dog in the home would also be a huge plus, giving her companionship and helping her feel secure. With time, kindness, and love, Bonbon will blossom into a deeply devoted and affectionate companion. A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Meet Coco. Coco was rescued from St. Thomas while she was pregnant. She was a great mother to six wonderful puppies. She is now ready to find her forever home. Coco is truly an island dog and was considered feral when we rescued her. She is slowly coming around. Coco is very scared and is considered a flight risk. She can walk somewhat on a leash. A fenced yard will be required. It would also be great for her to have a home with another dog, so that she can learn what it’s like to be a normal dog. Coco is considered a project Dog and will need someone with patience and understanding of fearful dogs. Coco is also heartworm positive and will be going through treatment. This is covered by Furkids. If you’re interested, please apply to furkids.org. Coco currently weighs about 19lbs., is almost 4 years old (est. birth date 11/17/2021), and her adoption fee is $315. Coco has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
