Story
Harley is a sweet girl, about 10 years old. She was rescued in 2018, along with 3 other Beagles (Bonnie, Clyde and Max) at different times. Since then, Bonnie and Max were rehomed and Clyde was put down end of last year due to congestive heart failure. I am a retired 23 year veteran who has PTSD, ADHD and anxiety issues. I take medication for such. Harley is sweet and loving, but has some anxiety which is playing heavy with mine unfortunately. She needs love and companionship in a healthy home environment.

Story
A foster to adopt option is available for Billy Ray so you can get to know one another before making it official. Meet Billy Ray: a sweet senior Beagle ready for a fresh start. At 10 years old and around 20 pounds, Billy Ray came to us from a large hoarding situation where he lived among 80+ other dogs with very little exposure to the outside world. Despite his past, he is incredibly gentle and kind, with a loving nature. Billy Ray is learning to enjoy life’s simple comforts.. soft beds, fresh air, and the presence of caring people. He does well with other dogs and would thrive in a calm, patient home that will give him the time he needs to continue building confidence. A fenced yard would be ideal for safe exploring at his own pace. This sweet boy is ready to spend his golden years surrounded by love. Billy Ray may be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe, his gentle spirit truly shines. Billy Ray currently weighs about 20lbs., is approximately 10 years old (est. birth date 12/22/15), and his adoption fee is $185. Billy Ray has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. If you want to know more about Billy Ray, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. Story
Lily is a fun-loving and energetic beagle with a zest for life that’s impossible to resist. She absolutely thrives on activity and adventure—especially trips to the dog park, where she can run, play, and make new friends to her heart’s content. Her previous owner described her as a fantastic dog, and it’s easy to see why. Lily is affectionate, playful, and full of personality. She forms strong bonds with her people and loves being part of the action, whether that’s outdoor fun or playtime at home with her favorite toys. Lily is also well-trained and ready to settle into her next chapter. She should not be in an apartment due to her beagle nature. She is both housetrained and crate trained, making her a great companion for a home that can match her energy and give her the love and activity she craves. With the right family, Lily will be a loyal, joyful, and endlessly entertaining best friend. Lily currently weighs about 40lbs., is approximately 2 years old (est. birth date 1/8/2024), and her adoption fee is $315. Lily has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. If you want to know more about Lily, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. Story
A foster-to-adopt option is available for this dog so you can get to know each other before making it official. Meet Brady: a gentle Beagle with a heart full of love. Around 7 years old and weighing 22 pounds, Brady was rescued from a large hoarding situation where he lived among 80+ other dogs with very little exposure to the outside world. Because of this, he’s still learning what it means to be a dog, but his sweet and affectionate nature has been there since day 1! Brady is beginning to enjoy the simple things in life, like fresh air, soft places to rest, and the comfort of kind humans. He does well with other dogs and would likely benefit from a canine companion to help build his confidence. A home with a fenced yard will allow him to safely explore at his own pace as he continues to come out of his shell. He’s looking for a patient, understanding family who will give him the time and space he needs to grow. Watching Brady gain confidence and discover the world around him is incredibly rewarding. Brady currently weighs about 23lbs., is approximately 7 years old (est. birth date 12/22/18), and his adoption fee is $315. Brady has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
