Story
Harley is a sweet girl, about 10 years old. She was rescued in 2018 (with my ex), along with 3 other Beagles (Bonnie, Clyde and Max) at different times. Since then, Bonnie and Max were rehomed and Clyde was put down end of last year due to congestive heart failure. I am a retired 23 year veteran who has PTSD, ADHD and anxiety. My home life has since changed. Harley is sweet and loving, she would love companionship in a healthy home environment. Thank you. I am willing to help support transition as well

Story
A foster-to-adopt option is available for this dog so you can get to know each other before making it official. Meet Brady: a gentle Beagle with a heart full of love. Around 7 years old and weighing 22 pounds, Brady was rescued from a large hoarding situation where he lived among 80+ other dogs with very little exposure to the outside world. Because of this, he’s still learning what it means to be a dog, but his sweet and affectionate nature has been there since day 1! Brady is beginning to enjoy the simple things in life, like fresh air, soft places to rest, and the comfort of kind humans. He does well with other dogs and would likely benefit from a canine companion to help build his confidence. A home with a fenced yard will allow him to safely explore at his own pace as he continues to come out of his shell. He’s looking for a patient, understanding family who will give him the time and space he needs to grow. Watching Brady gain confidence and discover the world around him is incredibly rewarding. Brady currently weighs about 23lbs., is approximately 7 years old (est. birth date 12/22/18), and his adoption fee is $185. Brady has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. If you want to know more about Brady, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.

Story
Hi, my name is Meredeth and I would love to meet you. Life was not very good when Angels found me. I was in severe pain from torn ACL's in my knees and was terrified of everyone and everything. I was undernourished and so, so sad.   My Angel foster mom took me home and spent time making me comfortable and showing me that people can be kind. Angels had surgery done on my knees and I can run and jump again with no pain. Now, I am looking for a forever Mom or Dad to love and care for me.   I am 6 years old and about 17 pounds. My large soft brown eyes and coloring give away my beagle genes. I really love my foster mom and follow her everywhere, but would have no problem transferring that love to you.   Foster mom says I am very low key and would be wonderful if you want a quiet, affectionate girl to sit at your feet or on the couch and gaze lovingly into your eyes. I won't bark much and am potty trained. I don't need a lot of exercise, but am good on a leash and enjoy walking with you any time you like. I also enjoy playing with my squeaky toys and fetching them when you throw them.    The best news is that I have really gotten over my fears and get along with everyone, dogs, and cats.   Please call if you are looking for a perfect furry friend. I'll be waiting.   An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
Meet Bumper — A Brave Young Beagle Looking for a Special Home One-Year-Old Beagle | Neutered | Up-to-Date on Vaccines Bumper’s story is one of survival and slow transformation. After being lost and on his own for five long months, this 1-year-old beagle is finally safe and beginning to learn how to be a dog again. He's shy, cautious, and still unsure about human touch, but he’s showing us he wants to try. Bumper is currently in foster care, observing and learning from the other dogs in the home. They’re helping him gain confidence and showing him that it’s okay to relax and trust. He’s taking baby steps, and every day is a victory. Because of his past, Bumper is a high flight risk and will need extra care when it comes to containment and leashing. He does not like to be touched or picked up, and he needs an adopter who understands that trust is earned slowly and gently. We are looking for an experienced beagle owner to become Bumper’s forever family. His ideal home will be: Beagle-savvy and knowledgeable about their sensitive nature and strong noses Patient, calm, and consistent, with no pressure to rush his progress Dedicated to ongoing training and socialization at Bumper’s pace Securely fenced yard and/or escape-proof containment Home with at least one confident, friendly dog to guide and comfort him Bumper isn’t ready to be your snuggle buddy yet, but he is ready to begin the journey with someone who truly understands him. If you're the person who sees potential in the shy ones and has the heart to help them blossom, Bumper is waiting to meet you. Could you be the one to help this brave boy find his way home?     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions.
