Little Magnum’s story started in the worst way possible — he was found abandoned in a crate in a field, severely emaciated and alone. But this brave boy has done nothing but shine since being rescued. Today, he’s healthy, happy, and thriving, ready to leave his past behind and step into a bright future.  At approximately 1 yr, and 50 lbs, Magnum is a playful, loving puppy who brings energy and happiness wherever he goes. He adores people, loves kids, and gets along well with other dogs. Because he’s still a young pup, he’d do best with older children or younger kids who are well-supervised as he continues learning manners and boundaries. Magnum is crate trained — he’s smart, eager, and picking things up quickly with guidance. He would thrive in an active, loving home where he can grow up surrounded by structure, patience, and plenty of playtime. Neutered, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative, Magnum is ready to bring resilience, love, and endless puppy joy to his forever family. Mizzie does not, cannot, will not sit perfectly still for her photo, even if you dangle the most delicious biscuits right in front of her. Not gonna happen! She's a rolling stone and a little peanut who will gather no moss, not today, not tomorrow, not ever. Our pint-sized little Lady of Motion was recently adopted... for about 48 hours before her new family decided she was too... extra? They presented us with a list of reasons: too much energy, not behaving, no time for her. "Bad, the dad wrote, "not potty trained. They gave her 2 days; it was not a fit for the ages. Your Honor, may we approach the bench? Okay, okay, okay. Here's the thing. Mizzie is clearly a Jack Russell-mix. Fast and furious is her jam. Cray-cray is in her DNA. She's also a baby - 11 months going on 4 months - which means she's going to be a good old-fashioned handful. She's also joyful, happy, sweet and snuggling, especially after she runs or plays out some of her substantial puppy energy (see above). She's got a ways to go on potty-training, but with a better routine than she has in the shelter and some practice, little bee is going to nail that, too. If you're looking for pint-sized fun - with a shot of naughty biscuit on the side- come meet Mizzie. She's not going to be everyone's cup of tea, none of us is. But, she may be exactly the little spark plug you're looking for.
