CURLY Breed: hound-beagle mix Age: 1 year Weight: 55 pounds Adoption Fee: $275 Vetting Status: neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, dewormed and maintained on heartworm preventatives ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Curly is a super social, kissy, big guy. He adores all his doggie friends, large & small. Although he has not been tested with children, we suspect that he would absolutely love to have kids to play with! Curly originally came into rescue labeled a beagle/beagle mix & has grown into his puppy legs, proving to be more of a hound mix in size. He is crate trained, housetrained & OK on a leash.... though he would much prefer to run crazy in your fenced backyard. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ CURLY is available for adoption through K-9 Rescue of the Eastern Shore. An adoption process is required to include filling out an online adoption application available at the following link -- https://www.k9rescuees.org/info/adoption Veterinary and personal reference checks, and a home visit/meet-n-greet are required PRIOR to being approved to adopt. The time frame for completing this process depends largely on how quickly references respond, your vet office is able to speak to us (some want written permission first), your landlord or HOA (if applicable) confirms their approval for a pet, & how your schedule aligns with that of our volunteer(s) for the Home Visit. ~~~~~~~~~~ PLEASE NOTE ~ All of our rescue members are volunteers with many obligations. While we may not be capable of immediate response, we will respond to all inquiries and application submissions as soon as possible. Thank you for thinking adoption!

Looking for a little dog with a lot of heart? Meet Ian! This pint-sized black and white pup is living proof that a broken hip and medical needs do not mean a broken spirit! Ian's hip has healed but he is on daily meds for a medical condition, Diabetes insipidus. Despite it all, Ian is fun, boisterous, and full of playful energy that is absolutely contagious. Ian may be small, but he has a big love for life. He thrives on attention and is constantly looking for a game of seek with his toys or a good cuddle session. He plays well with other dogs, making him a great potential new sibling for your current furry friend. When it comes to his favorite things, toys rank high on the list, and food is right up there too; he's happily not picky about his meals... He eats from a slow feeder bowl to make sure he doesn't get too overzealous with his meals and is able to digest well. Ian is looking for a loving home where his joyful personality can shine and he can get the care and affection he deserves. Are you ready to give this resilient, playful boy a chance at a happy forever home? Basic Info: Male, 1 yr old Boston Terrier/Chihuahua Coat: Black and White UTD on shots and parasitic preventatives.
