Looking for a little dog with a whole lot of heart? Meet Ian! Ian is a 1.5-year-old black and white sweetheart who proves every day that a rough start does not define your future. This pint-sized boy previously suffered a hip injury, which has healed beautifully, and his happy, playful spirit never missed a beat. Ian is fun, boisterous, and full of contagious joy. He loves attention, enjoys romping around with his toys, and is always ready for a cuddle when playtime winds down. He does well with other dogs and would make a wonderful addition to a home with canine friends. Ian also loves his food and is happily not picky. He eats from a slow-feeder bowl to help him enjoy his meals at a healthy pace and aid digestion. Medical Transparency (the important but reassuring part): Ian has Diabetes Insipidus, which is not the same as diabetes mellitus. This condition affects how his body concentrates urine and has nothing to do with blood sugar. • Oral medication only — no shots or injections • Takes medication twice daily to maintain healthy urine concentration and support full bladder emptying • Medication may be lifelong or temporary, depending on future veterinary guidance • Medication cost can vary depending on the veterinarian or pharmacy • Needs frequent potty breaks Ian does wonderfully on his routine and is otherwise a happy, active, affectionate young dog. He LOVES playing with his bff Nori (his brother, a jack russell mix.) he’s completely house trained and will let you know when he needs to use the bathroom as he stands by the door. He does destroy his toys, so I suggest rope or hard bones!Nori is the most loyal, sweetest boy. It genuinely breaks my heart to rehome him. He listens well and always wants attention and pets. He loves being pet, but most of all LOVES tennis balls that squeak, please buy him some. He loves naps with his brother (frankie, a boston terrier also up for adoption with him.)Nori is skiddish of loud noises especially when things are dropped. These 2 must be adopted TOGETHER!Owner notes both animals are fixed and current on Rabies & Bordetella.

Remi was purchased from an Amish breeder in Pennsylvania when she was 4 months old. She just turned 5 in November. Remi is a fun, loving dog who loves children and people, generally. She loves long walks and car drives, and enjoys playing fetch with a ball. Remi loves a cozy kennel and doesn't mind being in it. She also loves to wear jackets and clothes. She loves a warm blanket and will cuddle up on your lap, near you or even under your feet. Remi will be a great addition to a loving family.

Gremmy found herself at a high kill shelter where she was scared to death and just shaked in her run. We got a phone call to see if we could help her get out of there. Of course we went and got her. Gremmy looks to be part Boston Terrier and Shih Tzu. She has the body of the Boston and the coat of a Shih Tzu. She would be best suited in a home without another dog as she is not a fan. She has been fine with the foster mums cats, will want to chase if they run but has never hurt them. When we first got her she was a bit scared going out on a leash, now she is fine. If you have any other questions feel free to reach out to us. If you are interested in this pretty girl please email us at Doginghamrescue@aol.com so we can send you an application. We are based in the Nashville, TN area and have most of our dogs transported up north. The $600 includes the adoption and transport fee (will have a health certificate too). The transport fee is not refundable if things do not work out.
