CURLY Breed: hound-beagle mix Age: 1 year Weight: 55 pounds Adoption Fee: $275 Vetting Status: neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, dewormed and maintained on heartworm preventatives ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Curly is a super social, kissy, big guy. He adores all his doggie friends, large & small. Although he has not been tested with children, we suspect that he would absolutely love to have kids to play with! Curly originally came into rescue labeled a beagle/beagle mix & has grown into his puppy legs, proving to be more of a hound mix in size. He is crate trained, housetrained & OK on a leash.... though he would much prefer to run crazy in your fenced backyard. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ CURLY is available for adoption through K-9 Rescue of the Eastern Shore. An adoption process is required to include filling out an online adoption application available at the following link -- https://www.k9rescuees.org/info/adoption Veterinary and personal reference checks, and a home visit/meet-n-greet are required PRIOR to being approved to adopt. The time frame for completing this process depends largely on how quickly references respond, your vet office is able to speak to us (some want written permission first), your landlord or HOA (if applicable) confirms their approval for a pet, & how your schedule aligns with that of our volunteer(s) for the Home Visit. ~~~~~~~~~~ PLEASE NOTE ~ All of our rescue members are volunteers with many obligations. While we may not be capable of immediate response, we will respond to all inquiries and application submissions as soon as possible. Thank you for thinking adoption!

Rowdy is a little shy with new people. Shes great with all dogs she meets and would be best on a home with another dog to help her adjust. Rowdy is curious in new situations, but life up until recently, hasnt been kind to her..... so she will need time to get comfortable and then her true goofy nature will emerge! Like a butterfly, Rowdy is a much different pup than when she 1st came to us from the pound, with no hope of getting out :( UNTIL the rescue chick saw me and knew i was a diamond in the RUFF ;) Rowdy needs a patient home who will give her time to warm up, open up & trust. Older kids only would be best for her and a fully fenced yard is a must. Until she settles in she'll be an escape risk. An apartment would work for Rowdy as well. She is ready for her furever family!! Apply soon! Local adoption only $200, in TX

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🌊🐾 Hi, I’m Ariel! 🐾🌊 I may not live under the sea, but I do believe life is better with adventure, dramatic entrances, and lots of attention. I’m a Beagle x Heeler mix born on March 12, and I’m already practicing my starring role as your future best friend. I’ve got the curiosity of a Beagle, the athletic spirit of a Heeler, and just enough sass to keep life interesting. I love people so much and would happily follow you around all day helping with absolutely everything… whether you asked for help or not. I’m brave, playful, and always ready for action — zoomies, hikes, backyard wrestling matches, toy stealing, and dramatic monologues when dinner is 37 seconds late are all specialties of mine. My siblings and I are what you’d call “gritty puppies,” meaning we’re tough, adventurous, and not afraid to get a little dirty while having fun. We’re expected to stay medium-sized, which is basically the perfect size for couch cuddles and outdoor adventures. My mom looks like a purebred Blue Heeler, so I’ll likely grow into a smart, active girl who thrives with people that want a loyal sidekick for everyday life. I’d love a home that appreciates a puppy with personality — because trust me, I have plenty of it. If you’re looking for a sweet, athletic little shadow with expressive eyes and main-character energy… I’m your girl. 💕

Meet Janie! 7 years old | Reisterstown, MD Some dogs bounce back quickly after change… Janie is quietly learning how to heal. After losing both her dog sibling and, shortly after, her beloved owner, Janie’s entire world changed. Everything familiar — her home, routine, and sense of security — disappeared. Now, this gentle girl is looking for a soft place to land and a family willing to help her feel safe again. Janie is the definition of a sweet, easygoing companion. She may not immediately climb into your lap for attention, but she has slowly started seeking out gentle affection on her own terms — and those little moments feel incredibly special. Once she trusts you, her quiet love shines through. Janie’s Favorites & Personality •Low-energy, calm companion •Loves car rides •Enjoys chewing on bones and frozen Kongs •Likes soft toys and cozy naps •Gentle, kind, and quietly affectionate The Basics • Mostly house trained • Dog-friendly (and would love a dog companion!) • Great with kids, including visiting nieces and nephews • Walks nicely on leash • Happy to sleep in bed with her people Janie truly seems happiest with another dog nearby and people around more often. She currently spends long stretches crated and manages, but it causes her anxiety — she would thrive in a home where someone is home more frequently or has a flexible/work-from-home schedule. Janie’s Dream Home • A fenced yard to safely explore and sniff around • A friendly resident dog for companionship • A family home more often than not • Patient adopters willing to let her settle in at her own pace Janie doesn’t need much — just kindness, patience, and a family willing to give her time to bloom again. If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion who will quietly steal your heart, Janie may be your perfect match.

Story
Junior is sweet, fun and ready to find his forever home! You can’t go wrong with Junior. He is approximately 1 year old, weighs 38-40 lbs and is a low rider! Don’t be fooled though, his stubby legs don’t hold him back. He can keep up with the best of them. Before we got Junior, he did not have an easy life. When he was younger, he was roaming the streets with his mom when he was hit by a car. His mom never left his side while he laid in the road. Thanks to an amazing group of people, him and his mom were rescued off the street and Junior was rushed to the veterinarian, where he underwent surgery for his leg. His mom has since been adopted. His leg was broken in multiple spots – and he had to get pins put in to hold one of his back legs together. Now months after this terrible accident, you wouldn’t even know Junior was injured! Junior is fully healed and romps around like the playful, energetic little guy he is. There is no long-term care for his leg, and he is not on any medications. Junior is house trained and crate trained. He LOVES his crate and we recommend having one in his new home for him to call his safe place. He LOVES other dogs. There is not a dog Junior has met he does not like. He’s just the happiest boy! Ideally, he would do better in a home with other dogs, or in a home that socializes him often with other dogs. Other doggies help him get his energy out! Junior loves kids and would do wonderful with ages of kids! Looking for a riding partner? Junior loves car rides! While he does love his toys is quite active, he loves sleeping on the couch and cuddling right up next to you. He also loves water and playing in pools or bodies of water! Junior would be a wonderful adventure buddy! His foster says he has a funny quirk – when he goes into his crate he will not lay down or settle down until he has a bed inside of it. He will sit there and wait until you bring him a bed for him to lay in. Junior knows his worth, and he accepts no less. An ideal home for Junior will be one that is more active that will take him on adventures, long walks, and lots of play time with other doggies and/or children. The foster has not one bad thing to say about Junior. Please consider giving this perfect boy a chance at his forever home! Junior is NEUTERED (fixed), current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on dewormer, flea/tick and heart worm prevention. He is heartworm negative, will be microchipped and will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to adoption. To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We do adopt in Central US and the East Coast. The adoption fee listed INCLUDES transport from Texas to the location where this animal is posted in. His adoption fee is $525 – there are no additional fees. Transport goes to the following locations every 2-3 weeks Albany, NY Wells and Brattleboro, VT Willington, Enfield, New Haven and Dayville, CT Port Chester, NY Dayon and Akron, OH Grove City and Bloomsburg, PA Ridgefield and Mt Laurel, NJ White Marsh and Falls Church, MD We have happily adopted hundreds of animals this way (long distance), and we do our best to make sure the animal you are applying for is best fit for your home.
