Billie is a 1 year, 9 month old Chihuahua Dachshund mix weighing 15 pounds. With her adorable perky ears, bright expressive eyes, and loving personality, she has a special way of making everyone feel like they're her favorite person.
This sweet girl is happiest right by your side. Whether you're watching TV, relaxing on the porch, or moving from room to room, Billie is your loyal little shadow. She loves curling up in your lap, burrowing under blankets, and soaking up every bit of attention she can get. If being spoiled were an Olympic sport, Billie would bring home the gold.
Billie has a wonderfully balanced energy level. She enjoys walks, playtime, and exploring, then happily settles in for cuddle time. She loves toys but is gentle with them, along with her bedding, making her an easy companion to have around the house.
She is crate trained, her leash skills are improving quickly, and she is almost fully house trained in her foster home. Billie is food and praise motivated, making her eager to continue learning new skills and routines.
Billie gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes, is respectful of cats, enjoys meeting new people, and handles vet visits and nail trims with ease. She loves being held and is always ready for another cuddle. We are still learning about her feelings towards children.
Her perfect home is one where she can be someone's devoted companion. A quieter home or one with older, respectful children would suit her best, as she can be a little nervous around unpredictable activity.
