He is happy, sweet, gentle, playful, affectionate, and about as clingy as any good Chihuahua should be. If you're looking for a little shadow who thinks you're the greatest thing on earth, Petey has been waiting for you. This adorable boy is unusually social for a Chihuahua. He loves meeting new people, gets along wonderfully with other dogs and children, and seems convinced that everyone is a potential new friend. He even met a rabbit without much interest, making us think he may do well with cats too. Petey has a wonderfully balanced energy level. He enjoys short walks, a little playtime, and plenty of cuddle sessions. He loves toys, but his favorite activity is being close to his people. He'll happily curl up on your lap, lean against you on the couch, or follow you from room to room. He is house trained, food and praise motivated, and loves treats, which makes him fun to work with. He is also a hilarious little communicator. Petey has an adorable habit of whining when he's happy, when he's hungry, when he wants to be picked up, or when he'd like your attention. It's simply his way of joining the conversation. Petey's biggest request is simple: don't make him sleep alone. He isn't a fan of the crate and seems much more comfortable sleeping near his people, which is likely what he's used to. He has shown no destructive behavior and has been an incredibly easy little houseguest. His ideal home would be with someone who spends much of their time at home, whether that's a retiree, someone who works from home, or a family where someone is around most of the day. Another friendly dog would be a wonderful bonus, because Petey would love a playmate. Petey is cuteness overload wrapped in a tiny Chihuahua body. Redford is wonderfully house trained and learned his leash manners remarkably quickly. He walks nicely and does not need a fenced yard, making him a great fit for many types of homes. Zoey is a spunky 9 yr old purebred powderpuff Chinese crested. She belonged to my aunt who could no longer take care of her. I have all of Zoey’s papers from the breeder. She is a sweet little dog who needs lots of one-on-one attention. She has been trained to do many adorable tricks. She loves snuggling on your lap or on the foot of a recliner. She loves her blankets and pillows. I brought her to Maryland because there would be a greater chance of finding her a home. I already have a dog and my dog has not been happy that Zoey is here. Zoey requires a really well fenced yard. She loves to run around outside and chase bees and butterflies. she knows how to use a pet door. She does not like going outside when it rains you will need pee pads and continue to train her to go out. She does not understand cars and traffic because she grew up in a rural farming area. She will come with a crate, dog bed, clothes, harness, blankets, toys. She requires a low-fat diet. She is quiet rarely barks.
