Nora is wary of men so would flourish in an all female household. Personality & Energy - Timid but loving – Nora is quite shy at first, as well as cautious around new situations and strangers. Once she warms up - she bonds very quickly, shows how big her heart is, and follows you everywhere! - Calm demeanor – She prefers short gentle activity or lounging close to her person. - Affectionate and clingy – She bonds deeply and wants nothing more than to be by your side (or on your lap if you let her!). Home Life & Compatibility - House-trained – Nora is doing great with regularly scheduled potty breaks and has a natural preference to potty outside. Hi I’m Goldie! Though I don’t know my name so feel free to name me whatever you want. I’m around 3 years old and I’m a super sweet girl who thrives on human attention. I was found as a stray so not much is known about my history. But I am good with other dogs and cats. I absolutely adore my foster families kids (6 and 2). I’m fine with going in my crate though I may complain for a few minutes. I’m not completely house trained but I’ve been working really hard at it and I am pee pad trained and use them consistently. I walk well on the leash. Can my forever home be with you?

Henry-Beagle/Setter Male, ~ 2 ½ yr. (Jan. 2026) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application. Henry came to the Rescue via a Dog Trainer. She had helped out a family who could no longer care for Henry. He's a good, young dog and has been in the Trainer's Prison Program. Henry has known the life of a family dog and seems happiest as an only dog, although gets along fine in the Program with the other dogs training also. Walks well on a leash and while in class. He's learned so much in the Program and the Head Trainer calls him 'extremely well trained'. He has some service/therapy dog training, knows Service Dog Tasks, such as: Block, Cover, Deep Pressure Therapy. He is about 50# in weight. Henry is also housetrained and crate trained. He's had basic obedience training. At this time, we do not know how he'll be with cats, as there are no cats in the Prison Program. He's not lived with a cat yet. Henry's adoption fee is $350 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.
