Story
Chico/taco has had a rough life, yet all he wants is to be loved. He’s an owner surrender and came with a really bad skin infection. He’s on the men’s and looking great now and ready for his forever home. He mostly had to fend for himself where he came from and ran with two big labs. Amazingly once I brought him into my home, he has never had an accident in the house and uses the doggie door. He’s good with all sides of Dogs and has no issues with Cats. Please open your heart and home to him so he won’t ever have to worry about being loved again. Please note: we are a FOSTOR based Rescue in Texas all of our dogs reside in Texas. We transport them to new states once Adopted. All Adopter must be 21 years or older. Our application can be found at www.haydudequine.org.

Peanut has a big dog personality and if he sees other dogs, he gets super excited, and the yipping sounds scary, but he just wants to play!! He's a nipper and he likes to jump on you out of excitement and although he LOVES kids, he should be in.a home with older kids Peanut is still young, and has plenty of energy to play and run.He has been known to be a runner- He will take off and think, it's a GAME and it will be hard to catch him, so careful at the doors nd fences ;) But smart sweet pup loves kisses and lay on your lap . He walks good on a leash i put 2 one on harness and collar since I don't want him to get loose. (harnesses are too easy to get out of, so a martingale collar is his best collar) He can upset a bigger or smaller dog if they don't have a tolerance for nippiness.In the face kinda of thing he loved to play and he runs super fast lol 😆 they would have to be extra careful that he never gets out of front.Door or takes off he laughing fast 😅 Poor little guy almost got run over on these big streets all alone, and we NEVER want that to happen to him again. So now you know more about the firecracker named Peanut. He is a doll!! ADOPT....DON'T SHOP!! Local adoption fee is $300(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet Athena 💕🐾 Athena is a 2½-year-old Chihuahua weighing just 6 pounds, but don’t let her tiny size fool you — this little girl has a heart big enough to fill a room! Athena has been through something no dog should have to experience. She suffered a head injury that left her with some permanent brain damage. Thankfully, she does not have seizures, but she does walk with an adorable head tilt and has a bit of a goofy, quirky way about her. Her differences only make her that much more special. Athena is good with other dogs and would love a peaceful, quiet home where she can feel safe and take her time settling in. She can be shy when she first meets someone, but once she realizes she is loved and safe, she warms up beautifully. And when Athena loves you, she loves with her whole heart. ❤️ Because of her tiny size and delicate nature, we are looking for a home without small children. Her ideal person will be patient, understanding, and willing to give her the time she needs to build confidence and adjust to her new surroundings. Athena may do things a little differently, but she doesn't let that stop her from being a sweet, loving little dog. She deserves someone who will see past her head tilt and goofy walk and recognize the amazing little soul underneath.
