If you’re looking for a low-maintenance grooming routine but high-maintenance cuddle expectations… congratulations, you’ve found your boy. This short-haired cutie may possibly be a Puggle mix (pug + beagle), but his official breed classification is “Certified Good-Time Puppy.” His coat is the perfect wash-and-go model — meaning less time brushing and more time doing the important things in life like belly rubs, snacks, and telling him how handsome he is. Conroe is a happy, social little guy who loves other dogs and is especially fond of wrestling matches with his darker-tan brother, Toledo. Their matches are intense, dramatic, and occasionally involve mid-playtime flops that look like someone hit the “puppy pause button.” Toys? Yes. Exploring outside? Absolutely. Meeting people? Once you earn his trust, Alvin is happy to lay beside you or play a game of fetch or tug of war with his plushies. He now loves his walks, and gets really excited about squirrels and rabbits. He's a little shadow that likes to be near his person. Now that he's gotten comfortable, Alvin has become more energetic and playful, and loves his plushies. Alvin is doing great with housetraining in his usual routine, though needs some time to adjust when in a new environment.

Hi my name is Danny and I am from Arkansas! From his foster: Danny is a cuddly, friendly, and smart pup who’s ready to find his forever home! He loves being close to his people and is always eager to learn something new. Danny already knows sit, shake, and lay down, and he’s currently working hard on mastering stay and leave it. He is house training but requires a regular schedule. With his happy puppy energy, he enjoys playtime and especially loves his chew toys. He is not crate trained yet, but he’s making progress. Hi, my name is DeeDee. I am from Alabama. From her foster: DeeDee is blossoming more each day now that she’s had time to settle in. She is very shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet personality shines through. It does take time, so she is looking for someone who is patient and able to help her decompress gradually. This lovely girl is potty trained and crate trained, and she sleeps soundly at night. DeeDee enjoys spending time outdoors in a fenced area. She is comfortable with just a few steps down from the house—she’s still building confidence with full flights of stairs, and her future family can help her continue that journey at her own pace. Quiet, gentle, and incredibly easy to have around, DeeDee is the kind of dog who quietly steals your heart before you even realize it’s happened. She is a beautiful soul who is deserving of a loving home and a wonderful second chance. From the Vet: DeeDee was staged for heartworm treatment at her initial vet exam while in rescue. During that exam we found a few additional medical conditions that her future home should consider to make sure she is living her best life! She has fairly advanced arthritis in her back and some in her knees. She may need joint supportive supplements and or possibly pain meds as she ages. Her heartworm disease is considered stage 2; Everything appeared normal on chest radiographs and blood work showed no sign of active heart disease. She does have a grade 2/6 heart murmur. TBB will not pursue further cardiology work up at this time, but this should be monitored in the future after heartworm treatment. I am currently being treated for heartworm disease. Heartworm is not contagious so your resident pets are not at risk! The treatment for this is 3-4 months long and requires a minimum of 3 appointments and strict rest/restricted activity. My adoption can take place during treatment, while TBB manages the financial responsibility of my heartworm treatment at The Bond Between Vet Center. Any other medical care needed outside of the specific care covered in the contract disclaimer, would be the responsibility of my new family. TBB will also agree to cover DeeDee's Spay and Dental surgery that should be scheduled 30-40 days after heartworm treatment along with 1 round of medications and 1 recheck appointment as determined necessary by The Bond Between medical team.
