Meet Chewbarkee aka Chewie, a one-year-old, 10-pound Chihuahua mix who looks like a tiny Black German Shepherd—and has the personality to match! We’re pretty sure someone ordered him from the online pet store, because this little guy is 10 pounds of spunk, snuggles, and entertainment! He may have arrived a little anxious, but now that he knows he’s safe, his true personality is coming out—and it’s adorable. Chewie loves toys, playing with other dogs, and getting cuddles. He has the cutest little hop and loves to perch on top of the sofa like he’s sitting in the VIP section, keeping an eye on everything going on around him. He’s also great with cats—although Chewie thinks every cat is a potential new playmate, so a cat who appreciates a little canine attention would be ideal. Chewie is great on a leash, crate trained, and his crate is his happy place. Best of all, he is housebroken! This tiny package comes with a BIG personality and an even bigger heart. â¤ï¸ If you’re looking for a pint-sized companion who will keep you laughing, snuggle with you, and bring a whole lot of personality into your life, Chewie might just be the package you’ve been waiting for! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
