Glacier and her sisters came to us a week ago when their owner passed away. Glacier is a shy girl whom we assume grew up knowing one caregiver. She loves pets and attention. Glacier will need a quieter home to help her adjust to a new environment. Glacier currently is not a fan of being held but this could change as time goes by. Please stop by and visit Glacier and her sisters during our open hours. They will either be adjusting to our cat room or in a quieter area of the shelter.

While Charlie often gets a lot of attention from his striking beauty, we see him for more than that; it's his character that really shines. Charlie is a gentle soul who is very shy and reserved. Charlie enjoys scratchers and would benefit from a variety of them in home. While he is playful, cuddly, and enjoys pets once he is comfortable, he has long and hard adjustment periods reactionary to change. Due to his life experiences, being skittish is something our cat behaviorist believes will likely be a long term part of Charlie's personality. While Charlie has had a tough time, he deserves a loving owner who can meet his needs and care for him through the rest of his days. He promises he will reward with lots of love and gentle kisses. To be considered for visiting Charlie, you MUST fill out an adoption application and agree to and be able to do the following in order to be considered: **MUST be willing to work with shelter director and cat behaviorist during his transition period** - it will likely be months of hiding after going home, so need someone very patient and knowledgeable about correct ways to socialize a cat, as well as with plenty of time to dedicate **Must be willing to visit the shelter multiple times for at least one month once a week with our cat behaviorist prior to bringing home for adjustment period** **Home cannot have kids, a dog, or more than 2 people. Meet Ethel!! She is turning 5 years old in May, 2026. I’ve had her since she was 8 weeks old. She is up to date on her shots. She is spayed, and well taken care of. Ethel has been around a dog once and warmed up well, but the dog was older and kind of lazy. She warms up well to other cats and kittens, but she is quite the princess and is not afraid to show it. She is small, but has a pretty big ego. She loves to play, and she accepts affection on her own terms. She is sweet, and does well with guests. She has a broad diet, and has no allergies. Ethel is house trained, and she will explore the outdoors, but won’t stray too far away from the house. I have moved to a home with a partner who is allergic to cats, and we also have a very hyper, 90lb Black Lab puppy. I want Ethel to go to someone who will love her and take good care of her. I’d also like to keep in touch with her by any means possible. She is my baby, and this is very hard for me and her.
