Story
Meet Alexander!  Alexander is a sweet rescue who's still settling in and showing us his personality. Once he trusts you, he's incredibly loyal and will happily follow you from room to room. He's an easy housemate who does well home alone during the workday, sleeps through the night, knows "sit," loves treats (especially baked chicken!), and enjoys playing fetch—though he's still working on the "drop it" part. He's also been a great sport about his medicated baths. Alexander is still building confidence and can be reactive to unfamiliar people, especially men, as well as other dogs. Thunder and loud noises can also make him nervous. Because of this, we think he may do best as the only pet in a calm, female-only home with someone who will give him the time and patience he needs to feel safe. If you're looking for a devoted companion who will reward your kindness with endless loyalty, Alexander might be your perfect match.  ##2799159##

Story
Pepper is a 12-year old Rat Terrier who came into Salty Dog Rescue alongside his sister, Princess Poppy, after their dad passed away & their mom was displaced with nowhere for them to go. He's sweet as pie, but understandably scared and confused by all the changes in his world. He cries sometimes, but he's getting lots of love and reassurance as he settles in. Pepper is neutered, microchipped & will soon be up to date on vaccines. He will be available for adoption as soon as he has seen a vet and has a chance to finally relax. Pepper needs a soft spot to land, where he can be with his person most of the day, watching TV in their lap, or sleeping at their feet. Could that person be you?

Story
Hi, I’m Viserion! I'm a 9-month-old Rat Terrier blend. We don't know how big I'll grow to be, but at the moment I weigh 5 lbs. I may not be as massive or fearsome as my dragon namesake, but I'm a pretty magical creature. I'm a resilient, playful guy who will fill your life with snuggles and love.  Favorite Things: Viserion is such a sweet pup. He can be a little shy when meeting people for the first time, but once he is comfortable he is the biggest cuddle bug and loves to give kisses. He also loves snacks!     Training and Manners: Since he is only a 9-month-old puppy, Viserion is still working on house training and walking on a leash and playing with toys and learning commands, and he still does a little puppy play nipping. However, he already does well on car rides and  prefers to sleep with his people at night through. He'll blossom with a patient person who can continue his training.  Health and Care: Viserion is a healthy boy! He is up-to-date on his vaccines and neutered. He'll just need his monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, like any dog.  Other Animals: Viserion gets along well with other dogs of all sizes. He hasn't been observed around cats yet, but his foster thinks they'd get along. Children: This sweet boy does well with children of all ages.   Ideal Home: Viserion isn't a fan of being left alone so he will bark when he is left alone. For this reason, he'd do best in a single-family home. Overall: Is sweet, snuggly Viserion the perfect addition to your story? If so, visit www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org; if it seems like a good match, his foster family will be in touch. His adoption donation is $525. ##2821524##
