I wasn't always a shelter dog. I once lived in a world of magic, where I was a brave guardian of a hidden treasure. My shyness was my strength, keeping me invisible to those unworthy. But one day, a playful, mischievous fairy tricked me into a portal that led me here.  I had an eye injury along the way but made a complete recovery.   I've adapted, using my independence to cope. I'm loyal, and, once comfortable, ready to protect and love whoever adopts me.   I pick and choose my doggy friends but love to play with cats.   I may not guard treasures anymore, but I promise to guard your heart with all my might. Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi, I’m Mystery 🤎🐾 I’m a 1-year-old Rat Terrier with a gentle heart and the sweetest little soul. I can be shy when we first meet, but give me a day or two and I’ll be right by your side like we’ve been best friends forever. Once I feel safe, I’m all about cuddles, kisses, and spending as much time with my person as possible 🤎 I’m calm, quiet, and very loving, but I still have a playful side too. I love going on walks, playing around, curling up for cuddles, and giving lots of kisses. I’m crate trained, potty trained, and leash trained, so I already have great manners and know how to settle in nicely. I’m still learning my basic commands, but I’m a smart girl and eager to keep learning. What I really need most is a little extra socialization and a patient person who will help me build confidence at my own pace. Once I warm up, I’m incredibly loyal and just want to be close to the people I love 🐶 My ideal home would be calm, loving, and patient—somewhere I can feel safe and continue to come out of my shell. I’d do great with a small family, older kids, and I’d especially love a dog sibling to help me feel even more comfortable. I’d be happy in an apartment, townhome, or house, but a fenced yard to run and play in would be a dream. If you’re looking for a quiet, loyal little best friend who will shower you with love and kisses, I just might be your perfect girl 🤎🐾 Adoption FEE: $250 which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption. TO ADOPT, APPLY ONLINE: www.mercyfullprojects.org PLEASE NOTE: We do our best to supply all known information about each animal in their profile. Adoption fee - Along with the individual animals vetting and daily care costs, the adoption fee helps Mercy Full Project cover additional vet bills, maintain their facility, and cover the cost of their operations in order to rescue more animals in need. **Our companions MUST live in your home as part of your family. **We do not transport. **Review our website for more information. Story
Meet Bret! Bret is a 1-year old male Australian Cattle Dog/Rat Terrier mix who weighs 30.7 pounds. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative. He is currently located in Spring Hill. Bret is a lovely, affectionate boy with tons of energy and enthusiasm for life. He absolutely loves to run and play, and he’ll happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give. With his intelligence and drive, he would make a fantastic sports prospect or thrive with an active family that enjoys hiking, running, water activities, or other outdoor adventures. He does well with other dogs and would benefit from having another active canine companion to help burn off his energy. He is not a good fit for cats because he plays rough with them. His experience with small children is unknown. Bret is crate trained and leash trained. He heels well on a leash when given reminders. Bret also knows how to "auto-sit" when you stop walking. He is learning many other commands in training such as down, stay, come, and leave it. Bret is working on house training. Bret graduated from basic obedience and is now working on intermediate obedience. If you’re looking for a fun, athletic, and affectionate companion to share your adventures, Bret may be the perfect match! Apply to adopt www.ewenityfarmsbch.com

Story
Arthur is the definition of a lap dog. The moment you sit down, he is right beside you—or more often, on your lap! He absolutely adores attention and isn't shy about asking for it, often giving a gentle paw when he feels he's being ignored. Arthur has excellent recall and forms strong bonds with his people. Because of this, he can be possessive of his favorite human and may bark or growl when other dogs get too close. However, he can successfully live with other dogs as long as he still gets plenty of attention and affection. It is clear that Arthur was once a beloved companion. At bedtime, he confidently jumps onto the bed and curls up close to his person, content to sleep by your side. Despite his enthusiasm, he is incredibly gentle and loving. His foster mom cannot say enough wonderful things about him. Arthur is also remarkably unfazed by everyday activity. Riding mowers, weed eaters, and other loud equipment don't seem to bother him at all. Arthur and Tommy were found as strays after being dumped in a rural area of West Virginia. The kind couple who initially took them in reported that both dogs are crate trained, although they have not needed to be crated in their current foster home. They are currently being fostered in Northern West Virginia, and transport can be arranged for the right home. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to be close to his person, Arthur may be the perfect match.

Story
Tommy is a confident, independent boy who enjoys spending his days exploring the outdoors with his foster siblings. While he loves adventure, he is equally happy settling in with his people at the end of the day. One of Tommy's favorite activities is riding in the car. He makes an exceptional co-pilot and enjoys accompanying his person on errands, road trips, or any adventure that comes his way. He also has excellent recall, making him a pleasure to have both at home and outdoors. Tommy generally prefers female dogs but can peacefully coexist with both male and female canine companions. Like many dogs who form strong bonds with their people, he can be a little vocal when he feels another dog is competing for his human's attention, but he settles well and shares his home without issue. It is obvious that Tommy was once someone's beloved companion. At bedtime, he heads straight for the bed and enjoys being close to his person. During the day, he can often be found relaxing on a couch or chair, taking a comfortable nap while keeping an eye on everything around him. When called, Tommy happily comes running and may even jump up to greet you, always with a gentle and affectionate demeanor. His foster mom cannot say enough wonderful things about him. Tommy has proven himself to be adaptable, loving, and easygoing. He is also completely unfazed by riding mowers, weed eaters, and other loud outdoor equipment. Tommy and Arthur were found as strays after being dumped in a rural area of West Virginia. The kind couple who initially took them in reported that both dogs are crate trained, although they have not needed to be crated in their current foster home. They are currently being fostered in Northern West Virginia, and transport can be arranged for the right home. If you're looking for a loyal companion with an adventurous spirit, a gentle heart, and excellent manners, Tommy may be the perfect addition to your family.
