Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi… I’m Mystery 🐾🤎 I’m a 1 year and 7 month old Rat Terrier with a gentle heart and a quiet, shy personality. I can be a little nervous when we first meet, but with time, patience, and love… I promise I’ll show you just how sweet I really am 🥺 I’m what you’d call a “velcro dog.” Once I trust you, I’m yours forever. I love being close to my person and feel safest when I have someone I can bond with. I’ve already come such a long way, and I’m still learning every day how to feel confident and comfortable in the world. I’m crate trained, potty trained, and leash trained, but I’m still working on building confidence—especially on walks and around new people. I prefer to take things at my own pace, and I like affection on my terms, but once I’m comfortable, I’m incredibly calm, loyal, and loving. ✨ My ideal home: • A calm, patient home (small family or couple) • Older kids only (10+) or no kids • A dog sibling would be great for confidence • A home where I can take my time learning to trust • A fenced yard OR quiet apartment life From my foster 💬 “Mystery is such a sweet girl who just needs patience, structure, and love. She has come such a long way and continues to grow every day.” I may be a little shy at first, but if you give me a chance… I’ll give you my whole heart 🤎🐾 Adoption FEE: $450 which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption. TO ADOPT, APPLY ONLINE: www.mercyfullprojects.org PLEASE NOTE: We do our best to supply all known information about each animal in their profile. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home. Adoption fee - Along with the individual animals vetting and daily care costs, the adoption fee helps Mercy Full Project cover additional vet bills, maintain their facility, and cover the cost of their operations in order to rescue more animals in need. **Our companions MUST live in your home as part of your family. **We do not transport. **Review our website for more information. Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi! My name is Zulu, and I’m a **2-year-old Chihuahua mix** with a big heart and a playful personality. 🐾 I’m a young, happy guy who still has some of that fun puppy energy. I love being around my people and getting lots of affection. I’m a very loving dog who really wants to bond with my person and be part of the family. I get along great with **other small dogs**, and I’d really love a home with a **dog sibling** to play with! I’ve also been around cats and I’m very curious about them—I try to play with them, even if they’re not always as interested as I am. I already know a few commands like **sit, down, and stay**, and I’m eager to keep learning. My foster says I really try to listen and figure things out, so with a little patience and training I’ll keep getting better and better. I’m also **potty trained and well-behaved in the house**, which makes living with me pretty easy! My ideal home would be with a family who enjoys spending time with their dog—going on walks, playing, or just relaxing together. A **fenced yard** would be great for exploring and burning off some energy, and having another friendly dog around would make me extra happy. A word from my foster: *Zulu is super sweet and very loving. He plays great with my small dog and is trying to make friends with my cat too!* If you’re looking for a playful, loving companion who will be excited to see you every day, I might be the perfect pup for you. I can’t wait to meet my forever family! 🐶💛 Adoption FEE: $250 which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. Story
Hi, I’m Juno! I'm a mellow, 8-year-old Rat Terrier (Rattie) and I weigh just 9 lbs. I may be named after a goddess, but I don't need much: just a window or sofa I can sit near and a family who will love me forever. Is that you?  Favorite Things: Juno does not need piles of toys or a lot of entertainment: she is very content just sitting on your lap or in her bed by a window soaking up some sunshine. Once she adjusts to a new environment, she's an easy, calm, sweet little lady who just wants lots of love. Training & Manners: This little lady has good basic manners! She is housetrained if let out regularly and is a good little passenger on car rides. She will go outside to do her business and is ready to come right back in and cuddle again, so she doesn’t require long walks. She sleeps in a dog bed at night.  Health & Care: Juno is spayed, heartworm negative, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. She’ll need monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, like any dog. As for grooming, this short haired gal just needs the occasional bath and nail trim, but other than that she is a low-maintenance lady.  Other Animals: Juno gets along well with other calm, small dogs. She even gets along with cats! Children: Juno has yet to be observed around children yet. Ideal Home: "Easy-going" should be Juno's middle name! She's equally at home in an apartment, condo, or single-family home.  Overall: This shy sweetheart just wants to fit in and will be a wonderful companion for someone who has an extra space on their couch and a lot of love in their heart.  Is Juno the sweet, calm best friend you've been looking for? If you think she might be, visit www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org to fill out an adoption application. If it seems like it could be a good match, her foster family will reach out with more information. Her adoption donation is $300. ##2675481##

Story
Branley may be a senior, but don’t tell him that—he’s too busy enjoying life his way. At 12 years young, this charming Rat Terrier has perfected the art of the good life. His favorite place? A cozy dog bed where he can curl up just right… preferably in a patch of warm sunshine. Give him a sunny spot, and you’ll see pure, contented bliss. Branley is also a wonderful walking companion. He loves getting out to explore, taking in the world at his own easygoing pace. Whether it’s a stroll around the neighborhood or a quiet moment outside, he’s happiest by your side. His hearing might not be what it once was, but a gentle, louder call is all it takes to get his attention—and when he looks your way, it’s with those sweet, knowing eyes that only a senior dog can have. And for his age? His bladder control is impressive, making him an easy addition to a calm, loving home. Branley is the kind of dog who doesn’t ask for much—just a soft place to rest, a bit of sunshine, and a person to share his days with. In return, he’ll give you quiet companionship, loyalty, and the kind of love that only comes with time. If you’re looking for a gentle soul to keep you company and remind you to slow down and savor the little things, Branley is ready to be your perfect match. PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. We only adopt in Florida. All adoption fees go to help all the dogs in the rescue, some of which require extensive medical care. Thank you for caring for the greater good. Adoption fee is $250 and you can adopt me at www.polkadogz.org.  ##2715473##
