Story
He is 9 months old. Very well behaved dog. He’s been in our home for about a month but we have to move and cannot take him with us. I did take him to the vet and he was healthy but he probably needs his vaccines. The reason I say probably is because the only paperwork we have is from him American Kennel Club and from him being dewormed but we never got any shot records. He’s sweet as can be and loves to cuddle. He just needs a new loving home.

Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi, I’m Mystery 🤎🐾 I’m a 1-year-old Rat Terrier with a gentle heart and the sweetest little soul. I can be shy when we first meet, but give me a day or two and I’ll be right by your side like we’ve been best friends forever. Once I feel safe, I’m all about cuddles, kisses, and spending as much time with my person as possible 🤎 I’m calm, quiet, and very loving, but I still have a playful side too. I love going on walks, playing around, curling up for cuddles, and giving lots of kisses. I’m crate trained, potty trained, and leash trained, so I already have great manners and know how to settle in nicely. I’m still learning my basic commands, but I’m a smart girl and eager to keep learning. What I really need most is a little extra socialization and a patient person who will help me build confidence at my own pace. Once I warm up, I’m incredibly loyal and just want to be close to the people I love 🐶 My ideal home would be calm, loving, and patient—somewhere I can feel safe and continue to come out of my shell. I’d do great with a small family, older kids, and I’d especially love a dog sibling to help me feel even more comfortable. I’d be happy in an apartment, townhome, or house, but a fenced yard to run and play in would be a dream. If you’re looking for a quiet, loyal little best friend who will shower you with love and kisses, I just might be your perfect girl 🤎🐾 Adoption FEE: $250 which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption. TO ADOPT, APPLY ONLINE: www.mercyfullprojects.org PLEASE NOTE: We do our best to supply all known information about each animal in their profile. If you have additional questions, you may send an inquiry email to adopt@mercyfullprojects.org to be answered at our earliest convenience. All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home. Adoption fee - Along with the individual animals vetting and daily care costs, the adoption fee helps Mercy Full Project cover additional vet bills, maintain their facility, and cover the cost of their operations in order to rescue more animals in need. **Our companions MUST live in your home as part of your family. **We do not transport. **Review our website for more information. Story
Hi, I’m Billy! I'm a 29-lb Rat Terrier and I'm 6 years old. I'm just an easy going, quiet guy who is just looking for someone with snacks who will love me forever.  Favorite Things: Billy is a bit of a foodie! He's playful, too, although this gentle soul is quite happy doing his own thing and doesn't need constant human attention. Training & Manners: Billy is a good boy! He is housetrained if let out regularly, he is a well behaved passenger on car rides, he walks well on a leash, and he generally has good basic manners. Health & Care: This little gastronome is currently on a weight loss journey and has been making great strides. He’ll need a family committed to continuing the journey with him which includes daily walks and closely monitoring his food intake. He is on daily medication to control his allergies and support his thyroid function. This costs about $85 per month.  Other than that, he is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. He also won't need much elaborate grooming, as a short-haired guy.  Other Animals: This gregarious guy gets along with other dogs of all sizes. He's even fine with cats! Children: Sweet Billy is good with children of all ages.  Ideal Home: Laidback and chill, Billy isn't picky and would be happy to live an apartment, condo, or single-family home: wherever there are people who love him.  Overall: Could Billy be your bestie? If so, visit www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org to fill out an adoption or foster application. If it seems like a good match, our team will reach out with more information. His adoption donation is $350. ##2629676##

Story
Branley may be a senior, but don’t tell him that—he’s too busy enjoying life his way. At 12 years young, this charming Rat Terrier has perfected the art of the good life. His favorite place? A cozy dog bed where he can curl up just right… preferably in a patch of warm sunshine. Give him a sunny spot, and you’ll see pure, contented bliss. Branley is also a wonderful walking companion. He loves getting out to explore, taking in the world at his own easygoing pace. Whether it’s a stroll around the neighborhood or a quiet moment outside, he’s happiest by your side. His hearing might not be what it once was, but a gentle, louder call is all it takes to get his attention—and when he looks your way, it’s with those sweet, knowing eyes that only a senior dog can have. And for his age? His bladder control is impressive, making him an easy addition to a calm, loving home. Branley is the kind of dog who doesn’t ask for much—just a soft place to rest, a bit of sunshine, and a person to share his days with. In return, he’ll give you quiet companionship, loyalty, and the kind of love that only comes with time. If you’re looking for a gentle soul to keep you company and remind you to slow down and savor the little things, Branley is ready to be your perfect match. PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. We only adopt in Florida. All adoption fees go to help all the dogs in the rescue, some of which require extensive medical care. Thank you for caring for the greater good. Adoption fee is $250 and you can adopt me at www.polkadogz.org.  ##2715473##
