Story
Hi!! My name is Milo! I was born at First Ladies Farm to a very small Rat Terrier mama, and very quickly got adopted! Well, 8 months later, and I was returned to the farm through no fault of my own. I hadn’t been taught any matters at all, or even knew what a collar was! But the ladies still loved me so much and started teaching me manners right away! I’m not even a year old yet so I’m still a puppy, but I’ve already learned how to sit, and I walk great on a leash! I’m SUPER friendly and also very energetic! I have little legs, but you’ll be surprised by how high I can jump!! I love toys and would love a best friend to play with. Most of all, I just really want to find my forever home and a family who will love me. Will you give me a chance? Please come meet me!!

Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi, I’m Grimsby 🐾🧡 I’m a 1.5-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix with a gentle soul, a curious heart, and so much love to give 🧡 I’m a quiet, humble boy who’s still learning just how beautiful life can be. Every day is a new adventure for me—the sights, the sounds, and all the smells. I love car rides where I can sit and watch the world go by, and nothing makes me happier than a soft breeze and a cozy place to rest When I’m not exploring, you’ll usually find me snuggled up on a blanket I’ve carefully bunched up just right. I love gentle pets, quiet moments, and hearing that I’m a good boy. Once I bond with you, I’ll proudly stay right by your side as your loyal companion 🧡 I’m smart, eager to learn, and making great progress every day. I’m potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained, but I’m still building confidence—especially around loud noises and when I see other dogs on walks. I just need a patient person to guide me and help me keep growing I do best when I have structure, consistency, and daily exercise. Long morning and evening walks are my favorite way to burn off energy and feel my best My ideal home: 🧡 Active home committed to daily walks 🧡 A calm, patient adopter (retired or home often is a big plus) 🧡 A fenced yard for safe exploring 🧡 Older kids (10+) 🧡 No cats 💌 A word from my foster: “He’s an intelligent, gentle, quiet soul who just wants to be loved and guided. Once he trusts you, he will stay by your side and be the most loyal companion.” If you’re looking for a thoughtful, loyal, and loving best friend who will grow with you and stand by your side through everything… I might be your perfect match 🐾🧡 Adoption FEE: $450, which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet your new favorite cuddle bug! Name: Maeve  Breed: Rat Terrier Mix  Age: 9 months old  Gender: Female   This sweet girl comes from the Lake County hoarding case and is so playful and gentle. While new environments can make her a little shy at first, her loving heart shines through the moment she feels safe.  She’s currently discovering how wonderful life in a loving home can be, and every day brings new milestones!   What makes her special: Snuggle Master: Her ultimate happy place is being carried around like a baby or buried under a pile of soft, plush blankets.   Foodie at Heart: Food is the direct key to her heart! Her love for treats makes training fun and rewarding.   Playtime in Progress: She is learning the joy of toys and loves engaging in gentle play as her confidence grows.   Training & Daily Life: As a young pup still adjusting to home life, she’s actively working on her house training and learning how to walk politely on a leash. With a patient adopter, a consistent routine, and plenty of positive reinforcement, she is going to thrive.   She would do best in a patient home that has a confident dog sibling that would help her gain confidence and a home that will give her the space to blossom at her own pace, rewarded with endless snuggles and unwavering loyalty in return.    Her  adoption donation is $250 & will include age-appropriate vaccines, microchip, and spay.  Please follow the link to submit an application:      https://bit.ly/3GDeyyo      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 6, 2026, 10:09 am

Curling up as close as humanly possible to you overnight in a big, cozy king-size bed. If you love warm nighttime snuggles, Dolly is your girl!   Her Personality & Highlights: Affectionate Companion: She loves cuddles, affection, and being near her favorite humans.   Toy & Treat Friendly: She does great sharing toys and treats with both humans and other dog friends.   Low-Key & Loving: At 13, she’s past the chaotic puppy phase and ready to settle into a cozy, quiet routine.   Ideal Home & Management: Dolly does have resource-guarding tendencies around her main bowl of food when other dogs are nearby.
