Story
Shy has been a foster at our doggy daycare, from county animal control, since July 2022. She scared of humans and is very slow to warm up, this is why we have not actively advertised her for adoption. She absolutely loves other dogs and loves to play. We would not suggest cats due to her predatorial instincts to hunt small prey; she could be enticed to chase. Although she has never shown signs of aggression, we don't recommend small children due to her being frightened. She is trained either in or out of a crate. She's spayed and UTD on vaccines. No known medical issues. She would do best in a calmer setting with someone that's willing to take it slow with her. She is a lover but is timid.

So to be spitful she was thrown! She hasn't let that dim her sunny spirit one bit! About Rose: Rose is estimated to be around 6 years old and appears to be a Jack Russell/Dachshund mix with the most adorable short legs and oversized paws. She has a genetic overbite that doesn't affect her quality of life at all, She's been fully vetted, is heartworm negative, current on all vaccines, and will be spayed soon. Personality: This sweet girl is the ultimate companion! Rose is a certified snuggle bug who loves following her foster parent around like a shadow. She's incredibly social and plays wonderfully with dogs of all sizes—including her current foster's 70lb puppy! When she runs, she literally hops with joy. Rose is an active, happy-go-lucky girl who's always ready for her next adventure, whether that's a long walk, short hike, or trip to the farmer's market. Perfect Home: Rose would thrive with an older couple or anyone looking for a loyal, affectionate companion. She's completely housebroken, crate trained, walks beautifully on leash, rides well in the car, and rarely barks. She loves dog beds, toys, and attention.
