I don’t mean to brag… okay, maybe I do a little. Kylie is the true definition of why they call dogs a man’s best friend. Everytime she sees a human she greets them with kisses and wags her tail so hard her butt wiggles. She truly desires the simple things in life. An owner and nice couch to cuddle on. Her foster family says although she’s a princess, she is very low maintenance and would be perfect for someone who wants a dog to cuddle them at night and stay out of trouble during the day. She is even trusted around their basement alone! She is awesome in her crate and is good about know where she is supposed to go potty. Kylie loves so deeply and truly deserves the forever home of her dreams. She cannot wait to meet you! I can’t wait to meet my forever family and start our happily-ever-after. Meet Lake! Lake is a 5 year old, 12 pound, Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix. Lake came to TNT from a hoarding situation, so he is still decompressing and getting accustomed to life in a home as a family dog! He does well with other dogs, but he's still nervous about new people. His foster family is helping him along the way, including starting to work on training. Slow and steady wins the race! He is looking for a forever home with a family that will be patient as he learns how to feel comfortable with them. He would love to have a confident resident dog who can show him the ropes! He's already started to show us that he wants love - he approaches his foster family for pets and paws gently for more. We are sure that with more guidance and love, he will understand that his life has really just begun! Let us know if your home could be a good fit for Lake! Lake's adoption fee is $400

Wakanda came from a local hoarding situation. Due to this they do require a fenced yard as well as another dog in the home.  Wakanda is one of the pups rescued from the Wauconda hoarding case and is just beginning to discover how good life can be. Wakanda tends to warm up more quickly to women and is still learning to trust men. He’s working with a trainer to help build confidence and ease his protective streak. While he’s still figuring things out, his sweet side is shining through more each day. He loves spending time outside, so a securely fenced yard is a must for this curious explorer. He’d do best in a quiet home with older kids who understand that trust takes time. With patience, love, and continued training, Wakanda is sure to blossom into a loyal and loving companion.    Stop by our weekly adoption events on Saturdays from 12-4 pm at 372 Townline Road in Mundelein, IL 60060 to meet our adoptable animals in person.
