Hi, my name is Bugz. I'm a little guy who really needs someone who has the time, patience, and resources to help me build confidence and to feel safe. I'd really benefit from working with one of the rescue's recommended trainers to teach you how to set me up for success so we can build a bond and I can flourish. I'm currently struggling with being restrained and leashed up. However, I am slowly getting better and also learning, with one of the volunteers, that having a leash put on and taken off means good things happen. Hopefully I can learn a harness isn't a bad thing either! I think until I'm confident, I'd need to be muzzle trained for vet visits. Until I can feel 100% safe being restrained and leashed up I'd really benefit from a fenced in yard so I didn't need to worry too much about being handled for potty breaks. I can take a few visits to get used to new people, but I've gotten better and open up quicker to new people. I love the volunteers that get me out to play outside and give me scratches. I'd love to find a home where someone can continue helping me build my confidence and make me feel safe. Can I build a bond with you? I can't wait to have a home to call my own. MM-MM Good... Momma Mabel and the "mmmmmm" pups have arrived and they are as cute as buttons! Mabel is approximately 3 years old, about 28-30lbs and can be timid at first, but warms up as she trusts!  She's on the 'thin' side after nursing her 6 puppies (also available for adoption), so will need a few extra calories to fill out! She would love a family, couple or person to spend the rest of her life with!  We recommend obedience training for all dogs! **Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent.  **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. Please ensure that your current pets are up to date with vetting, have landlord/HOA approval and are prepared to take your new family member home at the adoption appointment. Rio needs to be rehomed. We rescued him from the cold about two years ago. Unfortunately it’s not working out. Rio and our male Chihuahua are not bonding and we don’t have the time to give him the attention he deserves. Rio really needs a human with a lot of patience and time and a home preferably no other dogs. We think he is a Rat Terrier and is around five years old. He is very energetic and loves to chew on bones. His favorite snack is teething rings. He is pad trained and trained to go outside.
