Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Ginger is pure joy wrapped up in a goofy, adventurous package. She’s a happy, playful girl who greets life with enthusiasm and confidence. Ginger loves people of all ages, gets along well with other dogs, and has been fine around cats too. She has a friendly, social personality but also has an independent streak that makes her fun and entertaining to watch. She has basic training, walks well on a leash (though she may still polish her manners), is crate trained, and does great in the car. Ginger is intelligent, eager to please, and always up for playtime. She has moderate energy and enjoys being active, followed by relaxing on her own terms. She’s the kind of dog who keeps you smiling just by being herself. One important thing to know about Ginger: she’s an excellent climber and a bit of a wiggly escape artist. Chain-link fences won’t hold her, and she should be contained in a secure kennel rather than a pen if confinement is needed. She’s clever and determined, so a home that understands her adventurous nature and can provide safe containment is a must. Ginger was found abandoned in a box, but that hasn’t dimmed her bright spirit at all. She’s resilient, confident, and ready to move forward into a loving home. She can be vocal when she wants something and will “talk” to let you know what’s on her mind, especially when she’s excited or stimulated by activity around her. Ginger would thrive in an active home that appreciates a smart, playful dog with a little mischievous sparkle. With the right setup and lots of love, she’ll make an amazing companion! Story
This sweet mama has done a wonderful job raising her puppies, and now it’s her turn to find a loving forever home. Helga is a beautiful, laid-back girl who is both independent and affectionate—a perfect balance for someone looking for a companion without the constant demands of a high-energy pup. Helga appears to be housebroken—she patiently waits to go outside and has never had an accident on the porch. She’s also doing well on a leash and comes back eagerly when called (especially if treats are involved!). She enjoys exploring the yard and taking her time to poke around, but she always checks back in with her people. She’s very loving with her foster family and happily soaks up pets and attention, but she’s also content to relax on her own. Helga does bark at unfamiliar noises, though it never lasts long. She is still heartworm positive and will need treatment, as well as to be spayed before adoption. As for cats, she’s a bit inconsistent—sometimes ignoring them completely, other times a little too interested—so a cat-free home or slow introductions would be best. Helga is ready for a family who will give her love, patience, and a safe place to call home. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who is both calm and affectionate, Helga could be the one for you.

His mom is a Rat Terrier and his dad appears to have been a Lab or maybe a Hound, giving him the perfect mix of playful charm and loyal companionship. Story
Sweet, smart, and oh-so-loving, Joe is ready to steal your heart. His mom is a Rat Terrier and his dad seems to have been a Lab or maybe a Hound, giving him a wonderful mix of smarts and sweetness. Joe is already showing off how clever he is—he’s house trained, dog door trained, and crate trained. He’s learning good manners too, like waiting calmly before heading outside. This boy loves being with his people and playing with other dogs. He’s adventurous and curious, but at the end of the day, what Joe really wants most is to be close to those he loves. If you’re looking for a loyal pup who’s both playful and snuggly, Joe is waiting to be your best friend!
