Sweet Anna is one of the girls from the "frozen litter" that was surrendered to rescue at 6 weeks old. We were allowed to spay her mom before returning to her family. Both parents are under 15lbs. She is a spunky little girl now looking for her own family. She has been completely vetted and microchipped. She is pee pad trained and just started house training. She will need a family that is will to continue to work with her training and understands puppies can be a lot of work. She will make a wonderful addition to any family. She is fostered in Knoxville TN, but transportation to a location near you is provided by Rescue Riders LLC and is included in the adoption fee.

Rowdy is a confident, lovable Rat Terrier with a big personality and an even bigger heart for his people. Originally purchased from a breeder in Wisconsin at just 8 weeks old, he has spent his life in one home and is now ready for his next chapter. Rowdy is neutered, well-adjusted, and greets new people with ease, he truly enjoys being around humans and thrives on attention and connection. In the home, Rowdy is flexible and easygoing. He has done well both crated and sleeping out, though if given the choice, he would happily curl up on the couch or snuggle into bed with his person at night. He kennels well with a little encouragement, and is used to being crated for short periods during the day. Recently, he has started to vocalize more when left alone, likely because he would love a home where someone is around more often. Rowdy loves to chew on bones and will happily keep himself entertained, but he also needs an owner who understands that he can’t resist food left out within reach, he’s not picky and will take any opportunity for a snack. He is currently eating Purina Lamb and Rice and has done well on it his entire life. When it comes to other animals, Rowdy would do best as the only pet. His previous owner was very confident that he would be happiest as the only dog, as he has lived with another dog before and was unhappy sharing his humans. While he has done better with male dogs in passing, he prefers to be the center of attention in the home. He has not lived with cats and will bark at them, so a cat-free home would likely be best. He has been around children ages 7 and 9 and has done well, though not in a full-time living situation. Rowdy would thrive in a home where he can get plenty of attention, daily walks, and a predictable routine. A fenced yard would be a bonus, but most importantly, he’s looking for someone who will include him in their life, give him snuggles at the end of the day, and let him be close. He knows basic commands like “sit” and “stay,” and while his attention span can be short, his desire to be with his person makes him a wonderful companion. Rowdy is a good dog through and through, he just needs the right home where he can feel secure, loved, and like the most important part of someone’s world.

Sugar Plum is a 12-year-old Rat Terrier with a tiny body, a big personality, and a serious love for snuggles. At just 10 pounds, she’s happiest curled up in your arms or cozied next to you on the couch. She’s a spunky little senior who will absolutely make sure she’s included in whatever you’re doing (preferably from your lap).This sweet girl has been through a lot, but now that her medical needs are managed, her joyful personality is shining. She is diabetic and requires insulin injections twice a day, which she handles like a pro. She’s also mostly blind and has only one eye, so she’ll need a little help navigating new spaces—but she learns her environment quickly and even responds to cues like “careful.” She also only has a few teeth left, so she’ll need wet or softened food for life (which she is VERY enthusiastic about), and often wakes up with her tongue hanging out.Sugar Plum is fully house trained and sleeps peacefully in her playpen at night. She settles well when left alone, especially with a treat or two. She’s not much of a barker unless she needs something—like being picked up now, thank you very much—or if meal service is taking too long.She’s unfazed by other dogs and cats, mostly because she can’t see them, and would do fine sharing a home with calm pets. Because of her need for calm roommates, she cannot live with small children (no kids under 13).Don’t expect long walks—Sugar Plum is more of a professional lounger. She prefers staying inside, staying warm (sweaters encouraged!), and staying close to her humans. She has plenty of toys in her foster home but no use for them.Sugar Plum is looking for a calm, loving home that will appreciate her quirks and funny spirit. Hi, my name is Carlow and I am from Arkansas! From her foster: Carlow is a wonderful puppy; quite calm and a quick learner. She loves all people and would be great with kids. Carlow is easy going, loves to snuggle and chill in the sunshine. We’ve been crate training and she does great at night right when the crate is near her humans. She did have a bit of anxiety when she first arrived and wanted to be with a human at all times; she’s gotten braver every day! She’s quickly learning commands and while she hasn’t aced potty training, she only goes on pee pads inside on the rare occasion where we don’t make it outside. This one will quickly win over your heart!
