NOW ACCEPTING ADOPTION & FOSTER APPLICATIONS: URSA Those ears. That sweet face. Those soulful eyes. Meet Ursa, a beautiful tricolor girl with striking black, tan, and white markings and adorable pointy ears. We believe she may be a Terrier/Dachshund mix, and she's looking for a patient person willing to let her shine. Ursa was found wandering alone in Waller County and was brought to safety through Waller County Animal Control. While we don't know what she's experienced in her past, it's clear she's still learning that people can be trusted. She is a shy, gentle girl who is timid around new people and loud environments. Her foster says she's not mean at all—just fearful and cautious. Because of this, Ursa would do best in a calm, quiet home with no small children. Ursa's Dream Home: Older couple, retiree, or single person Quiet household No small children Patient humans who will let her adjust at her own pace Dog Friendly Cat Friendly Small Breed Mix Looking for a Foster or Forever Home The best things in life are worth waiting for, and Ursa is the kind of dog whose trust will be one of the greatest gifts you'll ever earn. ##2753410##

Story
Meet Tiki! Tiki is a one-year-old retired mama who's finally ready for a life where she gets to be the one cared for. This sweet girl can't get enough cuddles and would happily spend all day curled up in your lap, soaking up every bit of love she's missed. People are Tiki's favorite thing in the world, and she's always ready to shower her humans with affection. When she's not snuggling, Tiki loves to let loose! She enjoys zooming around the yard, chasing a ball, and playing fetch. She's the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. Tiki gets along wonderfully with other dogs and loves having canine friends to play with. She also doesn't mind cats, making her a great fit for many different types of homes. After spending her young life void of love and care, Tiki deserves the chance to simply be someone's baby. She's looking for a patient, loving family who will help her leave her past behind, heal from a life of neglect, and discover what it means to be cherished. If you're looking for a loyal best friend with endless love to give, Tiki is ready to fill your home—and your heart.

Story
Meet Bodie! 🤎 Bodie is a 20-pound terrier mix (possibly Basenji or Rat Terrier) with a huge personality and an even bigger heart. Currently undergoing heartworm treatment, this sweet boy is looking for a patient, understanding home where he can continue to thrive. Bodie is incredibly loyal and affectionate with his people. Once he bonds with you, he wants nothing more than to be your shadow, cuddle up beside you, and sleep snuggled close like a teddy bear. He loves to play, is potty trained, has made great progress with marking behaviors, and knows how to sit and patiently wait for his meals. Bodie would do best with a dog-savvy female adopter who is looking for a devoted best friend. He can be wary of men and takes time to build trust. He also needs a home without cats and will need an adopter who can continue managing his resource guarding around bones and his desire to be the "alpha" in certain situations. For the right person, Bodie will be an incredibly loyal companion. He forms deep bonds with those he trusts and is the kind of dog who will always be by your side through life's ups and downs. If you're looking for a loving, devoted sidekick and are willing to give Bodie the understanding he deserves, he may be the perfect match for you.

Story
Spike's DOB is 6/3/2020; he is now 6 yrs old. We adopted him from the Humane Society in August 2021. Since then, my Autistic son does not like to have him around. In addition to that, financially it's been tough since I lost my job last year. We hate to have to rehome him since he is our first family pet, but it is best for us. I have been trying to rehome him by taking him to shelters since October 2025; however, shelters are full. Spike answers to his name, and he responds well to commands. He will be best with a family with younger children or even adults who have a lot of attention to give.

Story
Marley Rocky is an approx 10–12 year old, 15lb Rat Terrier mix. He is a very chill dude and is good with other dogs, but not with cats. He is housetrained and loves to lounge in his bed or in his crate. He already has some loose-leash walking skills, and he prefers short walks of less than half a mile. Marley Rocky will need someone that is home most of the time or another dog in the home. Marley Rocky was rescued from the shelter with a broken pelvis a few years ago but experiences no limitations from that previous injury. For example, he has no trouble jumping up on the couch to seek out his daily cuddles. Marley Rocky is located in the Dallas, TX area. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and has had a dental. Adoption fee is: $250.00 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
