Hi! My name is Cookie! I came into Ouachita Parish Animal Shelter as a lost pup, but I just lucked out and landed myself in a foster home with Best Friends! I am about 6 years old and a shy, chill girl, but I warm up quickly and really love to snuggle! My foster pawrent has been spending lots of time with me so I can gain some confidence meeting new people, and has shown me how awesome it is to be loved so I'm hopeful one day I will find a family that wants to adopt me furever! Buddy is a 9 months- 1 year old, 17 lbs, Rat Terrier mix. He's great with other dogs, cats, and kids. Buddy is potty trained, crate trained, and walks well on leash. He is extremely athletic a boy who would love a nice yard to play in along with a doggie sibling his size or larger. Buddy is in his chewing phase since he is still young but will get better with some basic training and elk antler bone to chew on. He likes car rides, walks, toys and bones. He is being treated for heart worms but don't let this stop you from getting an amazing and loving dog, plus we will continue to cover the cost of his treatment until he is heart worm free.
