Story
Meet Sally, the spirited and pint-sized little terrier with the most adorable perky ears and sparkly eyes! Sally is cute as a button and she is completely devoted to her people. She is so gentle and very easy to leash walk, making her a fan favorite among volunteers and staff alike. She loves to trot along and explore the trails, followed by a relaxing cuddle session with her people. Sally gets along well with other nice small dogs, and she is quite fond of cats! While she is confident and charming, Sally can be anxious when left alone and we think she would do well in a home with another canine sibling to keep her company. She is also shy around sudden movements and loud noises, so we recommend a quieter home with adults and older children. Sally's kind and sweet disposition makes her the perfect companion for a very lucky adopter. She is absolutely darling and we hope she finds her forever family very soon!

Story
Wattson was a stray that ate scraps at my grandma's house in Mexico. Eventually she had a litter behind her house and her pups started to die. I rescued her and her last pup and brought them home. Wattson is now thriving and she loves to run and chase/bark at squirrels and wild bunnies. She will require a large yard to spend energy in because walks are not quite her enough for her. Wattson is good with other dogs and children, but due to her prey drive may not do well with cats. Although she loves to run, Wattson also loves to be around her person. She will tag along just about anywhere and beg for pets. She also potty trained very quickly but when she is afraid (think thunderstorms, or chasing her if she got out) she is prone to accidents. She does well in a crate overnight though. One of Wattson's favorite things is to be carried, she will hang on to you as long as you are willing to let her. She is not keen of car rides though so lots of love is needed when transported.

Story
Mako is a 3 year old male Jack Russell Terrier. He is neutered and UTD on shots. He loves to play fetch, tug, go on long walks, and gets excited about training time. He knows sit, down, stay, come, and is working on spin. He is a smart dog and catches on very quick. However, we cannot keep him as he is showing aggression towards my girlfriend. She feels nervous around him and we have decided that he is not a good fit for us and we are not for him either. He is reactive towards dogs and people on walks. He has high prey drive towards small animals and sometimes children can make noises and movements that trigger it. He can resource guard high value items and has some separation anxiety. For these reasons we feel he needs someone who has experience with dogs that need behavioral modification and a certain level of management. His ideal home would most likely be a single person that has calm confident energy, with no children or other animals, with time and patience to devote to him.
