George was a stray that found his way into someone’s backyard. They didn’t know how he got in but they were determined to keep him in. They were unsuccessful. They tried to fix their fence to keep him in but he kept finding ways to escape. Finally they decided he wasn’t a good fit for them. George wanted to be an inside dog! He wants to be a part of the family. He wants to sleep in the bed with you and sit in your lap! George has done great with his temporary family. He does not try to escape anymore. He has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm tested negative. Now all George needs is someone who will love him as part of their family!

One of his favorite things to do is stand up on his hind legs and beg for treats…and he’s pretty hard to resist! Wesley loves toys, treats, people, and just having a good time. Pocketbook may be carrying a little extra baggage right now, but this sweet mama is ready for a fresh start! She arrived in our care with quite the load—she’s expecting babies and nursing a broken leg. Since she isn’t a candidate for surgery at this time, her leg is safely supported in a splint while she rests, heals, and settles into foster care before her little ones make their grand entrance. Understandably, Pocketbook can be a little scared at first. But underneath those nerves is an incredibly sweet girl who enjoys gentle pets and slowly starts to let her guard down once she knows she’s safe. Give her a little time, and she may even reward you with the sweetest kisses– This is the case for all of the SNIPSA staff! For now, Pocketbook is getting all the rest and TLC she deserves as we eagerly await the arrival of her tiny “change purses.” We can’t wait to watch this mama’s next chapter unfold! Hi, I’m Eddie!I was found as a stray on the San Antonio streets in December of 2025. Since then I have been learning and growing every day. I love walks, runs, snuggles, treats and BELLY RUBS.I am on my way to becoming the best version of myself and can’t wait to find a family to help me get there. 🐶 Here are what I think are the pros and cons of adopting me:Pros:18 months old, a lifetime ahead!I am full of energy & playfulI love long walks and the dog parkI do really well with other dogs, cats and childrenSnuggles are my expertiseCons:I still have a bit of separation anxiety, and I fear abandonmentI need some continued help to understand my rules on the leash (as a stray I lived for street scraps, now I can’t have them???)My bark is a little loud, but I’m learning to find my inside voice!Eddie has a clean bill of health.
