Bess is a sweet and tenderhearted dog who is about 4 years old and weighs 14 pounds. We rescued her and her 2 puppies Billy and Buddy from someone's yard near the border of Mexico. She does have a warm-up period when meeting new people. Once she knows you will be kind to her, she loves to get attention and affection. Coming from the environment she was in previously, it is apparent that she wasn’t handled very much so she just needs time to trust and know that she is in a safe space. She gets along well with the other dogs at the rescue. She would do best in a calm and patient home where she can acclimate to her new surroundings and learn to trust. For the first few weeks, use a harness when walking her until she gets used to you. She is a wonderful dog who just wants a family to call her own! Bess is at our rescue in Hondo, Tx and a meet and greet can be arranged with an approved application. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, microchipped and her adoption fee is $325. Seamus was found abandoned on a road. He is a cuddly, playful boy who gets along great with other dogs. It's not known how he will get along with children and cats, because he's never been around either, but from his personality, we expect he'll do fine with both. Seamus is pee pad trained but not truly housebroken yet. He's not yet neutered, but either will be prior to adoption, or part of the adoption fee will be refunded after proof of neutering. Scrappy and his siblings were abandoned near a truck stop. He is about 7 months old, and is friendly, outgoing, playful, talkative, and silly. Scrappy gets along great with other dogs. He hasn't really been around cats or children, but there's no reason to think he won't do well with them. Scrappy is pee pad trained, but he can't said to be housebroken quite yet. Scrappy will either be neutered prior to going to his new home, or a portion of his adoption fee will be refunded upon proof of neutering.
