Story
George was a stray that found his way into someone’s backyard. They didn’t know how he got in but they were determined to keep him in. They were unsuccessful. They tried to fix their fence to keep him in but he kept finding ways to escape. Finally they decided he wasn’t a good fit for them. George wanted to be an inside dog! He wants to be a part of the family. He wants to sleep in the bed with you and sit in your lap! George has done great with his temporary family. He does not try to escape anymore. He has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm tested negative. Now all George needs is someone who will love him as part of their family!

Story
Pocketbook may be carrying a little extra baggage right now, but this sweet mama is ready for a fresh start! She arrived in our care with quite the load—she’s expecting babies and nursing a broken leg. Since she isn’t a candidate for surgery at this time, her leg is safely supported in a splint while she rests, heals, and settles into foster care before her little ones make their grand entrance. Understandably, Pocketbook can be a little scared at first. But underneath those nerves is an incredibly sweet girl who enjoys gentle pets and slowly starts to let her guard down once she knows she’s safe. Give her a little time, and she may even reward you with the sweetest kisses– This is the case for all of the SNIPSA staff! For now, Pocketbook is getting all the rest and TLC she deserves as we eagerly await the arrival of her tiny “change purses.” We can’t wait to watch this mama’s next chapter unfold! Story
Hearty and packed full of lots of benefits, it's your autumn favorite, Pepita! Pepita is undeniably sweet and most certainly an office favorite. Given the opportunity, we'd all take her home! Pepita is pint-sized, making for a good travel/walk/cuddle companion. At the office, Pepita is your right-hand girl. She is happy to tag along for morning coffee runs to our local coffee spot, The Honey Bean, and just as happy to lounge next to a staff member's desk. She makes friends with everyone she meets, true to her breed. Pepita is a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix. While she has the affectionate, loyal, and social traits of her breed, she doesn't bounce off the walls as one might expect. Instead, Pepita enjoys walks where she can get her 'sniffs' in and more casual playtime in the backyard. Pepita would make for a classic, all-around companion. So, if you are looking for a girl with lots of perks, we think Pepita just might be the dog for you!

Quarantine Up Sept. 19th, 2026 Meet Wesley! 🐾 Wesley is an adorable 2–3-year-old, 16-pound little guy with the nicest personality. He is friendly, outgoing, and loves everyone he meets.
