Story
Maybelline is another puppy found abandoned on the streets of San Antonio! We are simply over run with beautiful little souls whose only purpose in life is to find that one person who let them love for the rest of their life. Maybelline is one of the most beautiful souls I have seen in a long time. She wants nothing more than be devoted to her person for as long as she lives. She just needs someone to give her a chance! Are the one who is willing to give her a try? I promise you won’t regret it!

Story
Meet Tina! She is a 1 year old rat terrier/heeler mix rescued with her mom, sister and younger siblings after being dumped in a bad area of town. She is very submissive and a little shy at first but wants she warms up she loves belly rubs! She get's that from her mom! She is great with other dogs of all sizes but prefers medium and small dogs. The bigger dogs make her a little nervous. She is working on leash walking, potty training and crate training. She is currently 23 lbs with long legs. She is just a sweet girl looking for love and a place to lounge around! Tammy is available for adoption with Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio. The adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport. An adoption application and adoption contract are all required. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations appropriate for their age, microchipped, and wormed for internal and external parasites. If you would like more information please email us at sgdrsa@outlook.com. An adoption application can be completed online at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SGDR/Dog Please note that visual breed identification in rescue dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only GUESSING at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

Story
My story Here's what the humans have to say about me: Here's what the humans have to say about me: Oscar is an adorable Rat Terrier mix who is approximately 3-4 years old and currently weighs 15 pounds. He came to our rescue from a pretty stressful environment where there were 80 dogs all living in a small home together. Despite coming from these overcrowded living conditions , Oscar is a sweet little dog who is learning what it’s like to get lots of love and affection. Oscar is a tenderhearted little boy, who does need a warming up period to feel comfortable in his new surroundings. Coming from the home he was in, he was not handled very much, so he is still learning that one on one attention is a pretty wonderful thing. Once he settles in and learns to trust, his sweet personality will start to shine through. He does get along well with other dogs, and pretty much minds his own business! Oscar has bonded with his care givers here at the rescue and lets me love on him and give him treats! Watch his new video! Oscar is looking for a patient family who understands his background and can give him the loving home he deserves. We do think he would do better in a quieter home with older children. Oscar is located at our rescue in Hondo, Texas. He is neutered, up to date on all shots, microchipped and his adoption fee is $325. A meet and greet will be arranged with an approved application. If you would like to add this cutie to your family, please review our process and complete an application here- https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Services our dogs receive prior to adoption: Chagas Testing, Heartworm and Tick Testing (age appropriate) All age-appropriate vaccines Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives Spay/neuter surgery Microchip

Story
Harry and Eleanor?? Such SERIOUS names for a couple of goofy pups! We came from a somewhat sad and seriously MESSED up place but now we may be a little shy but we are definitely NOT SERIOUS :) We are JRT/Rat Terrier mixed siblings, each of us is cute and loving in our own right. Under 15# of absolute adorableness is who we are. We are both still a little nervous, I mean we came from a pretty horrific situation so know that we were not handled and loved on until the last month or so in our foster home... but we are learning so much and having a blast! We are great together but do not have to be adopted together. We will need at least another dog with us to show us the ropes and keep us company in our new family. We are good with everyone so that will be pretty easy :) Look one of us up and ADOPT...DON'T SHOP!!! SO MANY LIVES' DEPEND ON IT!! Local adoption fee is $350 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $600 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Story
Welcome Keeley to CCPAL Rescue. Keeley is a 12.5-year-old 15-pound Rat Terrier. She was found as a stray at one of the local convenience stores. Keeley had a microchip. The owners were called and they gave her away years ago. There was another person listed and they also gave her away. Now Keeley has no owners. She is an absolute sweet heart and very smart. People love the Rat Terrier breed for a good reason. These dogs are intelligent and very sweet. I have yet to meet a mean one. Her teeth haven’t been cleaned in a while but we have found that Probright Tooth powder works great for helping remove the buildup. She will need a dental in the near future. She is good with other dogs, loves to go outside, has good recall when you ask her to come, potty trained and loves car rides. She hasn’t been around a cat so we don’t know but her personality would make me think she would be good. She is around small fluffy dogs and big ones and gets along well causing no trouble. She would be great for the older couple or single person wanting a lower maintenance and happy companion. She is getting the slow kill method of heart worm treatment now. We will continue the treatment until adopted and give 6 months of the tablets so they can be continued. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See her cute video.

Story
Molly is a delightful senior dog whose owner passed away leaving her and a little young beagle friend to fend for themselves. She is a Jack Russel Terrier that is 14.5 years old and weighs 13 pounds. Molly would love a quiet loving home for whatever time she still has left. She is extremely mobile and enjoys exploring the entire backyard. She doesn’t hear well but her vision still allows her keep on eye on her human in the yard. She has no difficulty in spotting birds and squirrels. She can be vocal if she wants to come in the house or you are out of sight. Molly is very housebroken. She has become quite adept at finding her bed and knows when food is served. She sleeps very comfortably on her big bed. She has a dental which removed her last four teeth. She enjoys eating her soaked kibble with a small amount of canned topper. Her bloodwork showed minimal kidney elevations but are hoping it is attributed to being without adequate food or water for an unknown length of time. She is on no medications.  She is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $200 and will include 6 months of heartworm prevention. If you would like to give this little girl a forever home, please submit an application.  ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS Poquita Paws does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes spay/neutered, rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventrative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. Story
**Courtesy Post** Milo is a 3 year old shorty male Jack Russell Terrier. He acts like a puppy. All shots are current and he is neutered. Like most JRTs he is frisky and playful. He needs someone who will play with him! Hopefully his new owner will be home at least part of the day. You must have a securely fenced yard. No wrought iron, no electronic fencing. He likes other dogs, but not little things like hamsters or bunnies and not cats. And he will require a home with no kiddos under 10. There is a small rehoming fee. Please contact Milo’s owner at jbarton12197@my.pmi.edu if you have any questions. If you are interested in adopting Milo, his owner will send you an adoption application. His new family will need to drive to within 250 miles of the San Antonio, Texas area to get him.
