Story
Sweet Dixie was a adopted a couple of years ago to a very sweet lady in New Jersey. Sadly she unexpectedly passed away a couple of months ago and as she had no family, Dixie came back to us. She has adjusted very nicely but she needs to have a family of her own. Dixie was a street dog back in the day. She came to us with a litter of pups who were born under a trailer. She was a great mama and she was very thankful to have a stable home. She is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, crate trained and ready for immediate transport. Wouldn't you love to give her a forever home! PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE $350

Story
Macy is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so she is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home. Macy looks like a rat terrier. We are guessing she is around 3 years of age and she weighs 15 pounds. As expected, she was a bit leery of the other dogs at first but now she is just as happy and playful as she can be. Macy is very affectionate and loves attention and pets. She likes to sit next to you on the couch and grumbles at the other dogs to keep them away so she can have all the attention. This is a bad habit and should not be encouraged. Macy is crate-trained and well-behaved in the house. She likes to roll herself up in a blanket when sleeping. Macy is getting chubby after her spay and her new family needs to take her on walks to lose weight. Macy is doing well with housetraining but may need more work. Because Macy is small, she must be protected from rough treatment by children or big dogs that could hurt her. She must also be protected from raptors and other outdoor predators. Macy must be an inside dog and a loved member of the family. To avoid injury, she will need steps to get on and off the couch and other furniture. Macy must be walked on a leash and would like a secure, fenced yard to run and play. Macy is healthy. She is spayed and tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. She is negative for heartworms and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. ALL transport costs are included in the adoption fee with delivery to Hagerstown MD, Linthicum Heights MD, or Quicksburg VA.   Meet siblings Sansa and Sydney, 5-month-old Rat Terrier and Dachshund mixes. Sansa is a female while Sydney is a male. They weigh 18-20 pounds now but are expected to mature to around 25 pounds. They both wear short black, tan, and white coats which are easy to maintain. Shy at first, they warm quickly, and their loyalty knows no bounds. They also both do well with other dogs.  Adopt Sansa or Sydney, (or both!) and let them fill your life with joy and companionship! (ME, 3/18/2024)  **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption: $395 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip and an Alabama State Health Certificate.   Transport, if needed  $160   We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip . Story
Jayden is a really sweet and super energetic ~2yo pup with tons of personality. She loves playing fetch, tug, and chase and will do almost anything for treats/food. She is house trained, crate trained, loosely obedience training, and we are currently working on muzzle training. She is a great companion and would do well in an experienced single person household or a multi-adult household where everyone is FULLY committed to training and management. We adopted her 18mo ago and are re-homing her due to her anxiety and reactivity which occasionally result in aggression towards members of our household. She is currently taking prescription anxiety medication and probiotics which are helping a little, however we have decided that we do not have the experience or environment that she needs to succeed and be comfortable/happy long term. We are more than happy to provide further information including her vet records and vet behaviorist report to prospective adopters.
