Story
Meet Tina! She is a 1 year old rat terrier/heeler mix rescued with her mom, sister and younger siblings after being dumped in a bad area of town. She is very submissive and a little shy at first but wants she warms up she loves belly rubs! She get's that from her mom! She is great with other dogs of all sizes but prefers medium and small dogs. The bigger dogs make her a little nervous. She is working on leash walking, potty training and crate training. She is currently 23 lbs with long legs. She is just a sweet girl looking for love and a place to lounge around! Tammy is available for adoption with Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio. The adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport. An adoption application and adoption contract are all required. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations appropriate for their age, microchipped, and wormed for internal and external parasites. If you would like more information please email us at sgdrsa@outlook.com. An adoption application can be completed online at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SGDR/Dog Please note that visual breed identification in rescue dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only GUESSING at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

Story
Theodore Emiliano Bear aka Ted E. Bear, is a 3 year old Spanish Ratonero terrier. He was born and raised on a farm in a small town in Iowa. He was loved by his original owner, who sadly passed away and left Bear orphaned and homeless. He is energetic, gentle, and curious. Ted sings in the Bass/Baritone region. He enjoys country music, cuddles, attention from humans, pup cups, tennis balls, and liver treats. He is house trained, but his listening skills while out walking could use some work. Ideally, I think his perfect people would be very active and fit. Since Bear is very active and fit. He loves playing. He LOVES long walks, but gets extremely excited when he sees another dog. He could use some gentle training from an experienced dog lover. He just received his vaccinations, deworming, and a clean bill of health from his new doctor.

Story
Leo is a 3 year old rat terrier blue heeler mix. I got him when he was 7 weeks old in 2020. Leo loves to play with his ball. I have never seen a dog that loves to play with a ball as much as him. Leo is a very happy dog and loves getting affection and cuddles. Once he warms up to you he would be by your side all the time. It may take him some time to warm up but once he does he will be your best friend. Leo does have some food aggression and has nipped in the past. Healers are know for there temperament but he does show warring if he wants to be left alone. Because of that he would need to go into a home with no young children. He would need someone that would have the time to really work with him. I have worked a little on kennel training and he would do well if worked with more. Leo has so much potential to be an amazing dog if match with the right owner!! If interested please text (920) 889-8458

Hello! We're the breakfast club! We're 6mo old mixed breeds from Sweet Home Alabama. We weigh anywhere from 12-23# currently. We're making the trip north soon to find our forever families! We would LOVE to get to know you!Allison: I'm the largest of the girls, weighing around 15#. My foster mama tells me I've got radar ears, because they turn when I hear funny noises. I'm a spunky little girl, with a big personality and a heart of gold. Playing with my siblings is my favorite thing! I love meeting new people, although I can be very shy at times. I'm great with other dogs, and kids with proper introduction. An online application can be found at SandiPaws.orgThank you for your interest in a Sandi Paws Rescue, Inc. Story
Meet John from The Breakfast Club Litter…While his movie persona may be the bad boy, let me tell you this little fella is far from it!This sweet little guy is about 6 months old and on the hunt for his furrever home. He’s the cutest little mix and probably won’t get too much bigger than he currently is at 18#One of our amazing southern fosters scooped him and his siblings up after being shot at and dumped at a flea market and saved them from the unthinkable He’s a bit timid at first, rightfully so, but blossoms quickly. He does great with dogs of all ages and sizes and would do just fine with dog savvy kitty friends. He’s working on his house manners and learning that a leash is not a bad thing. He’s very smart and food motivated so training should be a breeze…he already crates himself John’s pastimes include watching tv, zooming around the house, playing with toys (especially tennis balls) and finding all the comfy spots to nap He also has the cutest nubbie tail and wiggle butt that sways when he’s excited, it’s so adorable If you or someone you know is looking for the perfect sized snuggle buddy, John’s your guy!Thank you for your interest in a Sandi Paws Rescue, Inc. Story
Meet Norman, the Sweetheart in Need of a Home! Norman's tale is a heartbreaking one. Surrendered by the family who had been his everything since puppyhood, Norman finds himself bewildered and scared in the shelter. He's a sweet soul, but the sudden change in his life has left him shaken. For 5 years, Norman knew nothing but the love and companionship of his owners. However, when they brought home a new younger dog, Norman struggled to adjust. Instead of helping him adapt, they made the difficult decision to surrender him.Despite his fear, Norman is a gem of a dog. Neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and well-trained, he's everything you could want in a companion. Norman has experience with children, but he would prefer a home with older, respectful kids. Plus, having lived in a home with a fenced yard, he would thrive in a similar environment in his forever home.Norman's longing for love and stability is palpable. He's ready to break free from the shelter and find a family that will cherish him forever. Let's show Norman that humans can be kind and loyal, unlike those who abandoned him.If you're ready to open your heart to Norman and give him the love and attention he deserves, apply online at eastshoreha.org. Once approved, our staff will reach out to arrange a meet-and-greet, where you can welcome Norman into your loving home.Let's rewrite Norman's story with a happy ending. Apply now and be the hero Norman has been waiting for!
