EJ is a fun, young hound. He needs someone active, with a big outdoor life that will take him on adventures. He is affectionate and loyal to those who show him love. He would prefer to be the only dog as he doesn't like to share. He is not good with cats or other smaller animals or small people. Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $0 WAIVED if picked up in TN, $100 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. If loving people were an Olympic sport, Boone the seven-month-old Redbone Coonhound mix would take home the gold every single time! This 40-pound bundle of red-coated enthusiasm is friendly, playful, and so genuinely thrilled to be near his people that he has been known to get so excited during a good petting session that he ends up underfoot on the leash walk. He means well, he just really loves you. Boone knows sit, is quiet and calm in his crate, crate trained when on a schedule and is currently working on his housetraining. He is a smart boy and with consistency he will get there. Squeaky toys are basically Boone's love language, and he is happiest when he has a good squeak toy in his mouth, a dog friend to play with, and a human nearby ready to deliver belly rubs on demand. He is good with other dogs and friendly with strangers, and would do best in a home without cats. Boone would thrive in an active home with a fenced yard where he can burn off that glorious puppy energy and then come inside for the snuggles he so deeply deserves. He is young, enthusiastic, healthy, and has an absolutely enormous amount of love to give. If you are ready for a joyful, affectionate, and squeaky-toy-obsessed hound boy to join your family, text AARF at 931-260-8018 or visit www.aarf-tn.com today! Meet this dog at Petco on Saturday, July 11th from 1-4 pm CST at Petco, 377 W. Jackson St #11 Cookeville, TN 38501.   Interested in adopting? Story
Meet sweet, adorable Annie, who is an orphan no more since arriving in foster care. This poor girl was scared and terrified in a KY shelter for months until their rescue coordinator reached out begging us for help. Since arriving in foster care, she has truly blossomed. Annie has learned the joy of soft dog beds, the joy of dog bones, the sheer pleasure of running with abandon in the backyard with a ball in her mouth. She thoroughly enjoys the companionship of her foster siblings and has even started engaging in play with them. She 100% housetrained, loves her crate, and happily snoozes the day away in a dog bed or curled up on the couch. Despite being a coonhound which has a reputation for being loud, she is a very quiet girl, rarely barking. She is highly food motivated, so she has also done very well with training. Once of her very favorite things to do is go for a walk. If you hold up the harness and leash, she immediately runs over to you and patiently sits and waits for you to put it on her. She walks very well on a leash and goes on daily walks with the other dogs in the house. Watching Annie settle in and learn that the world is not a scary place has been so heartwarming. She has so much love to give and is truly a gem of a dog. Please consider making Annie a part of your familyyou will not regret it! Any interested adopters must be willing to drive to meet her in person in Bethlehem, PA. If you are interested in adopting a dog, please fill out our application. Meetings will not be scheduled without an application. Please visit our website www.rogersrescues.com to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.

Story
Our pretty little Coonhound/Lab mix girl is called Patty Cake and she takes after her momma who is mostly a beautiful, gentle, Redbone Hound mix girl.  She was found as a stray and soon gave birth around April 1st in a small rural county of Tennessee where stories like this happen much too frequently.  Patty Cake looks much like her momma with a beauitiful black face that has intense eyes that draw  you in when you look at her.  With her adorable floppy Hound dog ears, soft brownish grey coat, and gentle yet playful personality, she's impossible not to fall in love with. All Patty Cake wants to do now that she is in her very generous foster home, is to play, snuggle on your lap and to eat some much needed extra meals to put on the proper weight for a 4 months old puppy.  Born in a litter of nine puppies, she came to Critter Cavalry Rescue underweight because food had been scarce in her previous home. She's now on the road to catching up on her healthiest body weight and has discovered the magic of so many toys that she is finding it hard to play with ALL of them at the same time.  She is happy and joyful now that 4 meals are provided daily and she even has a few other dogs that might just consider being her playmate friends once they get used to her long Hound dog legs leaping and running around them.  They are spoiled Miniature Poodles.... oh my!!! This sweet girl has an incredible temperament that is total affection, with a little touch of shyness at first and a love for lap time cuddles. Hattie is also impressively smart—she learned to use pee pads almost immediately and has found out what crate time can mean in the way of privacy and a place to reflect and be still! She enjoys meeting new people, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and is even cat-friendly. Because she's an active, curious puppy, she'll do best with a securely fenced yard where she can safely explore and play. We expect Patty Cake  to mature into a stunning adult weighing approximately 45–50 pounds.  If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion with beauty, brains, and a heart of gold, Patty Cake may be the perfect addition to your family. To learn more or apply to adopt Patty Cake, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.  Transport is available to many northeastern states, and we also adopt to residents of Tennessee.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 9, 2026, 1:41 pm
