EJ is a fun, young hound. He needs someone active, with a big outdoor life that will take him on adventures. He is affectionate and loyal to those who show him love. He would prefer to be the only dog as he doesn't like to share. He is not good with cats or other smaller animals or small people. He really wants to be a working dog.   For more info about EJ and our adoption process please enclose your phone number with your inquiry or call Jacki at 941-587-4612. March 19, 2026, 12:17 am

Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $250 if picked up in TN, $325 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. If loving people were an Olympic sport, Boone the six-month-old Redbone Coonhound mix would take home the gold every single time! This 40-pound bundle of red-coated enthusiasm is friendly, playful, and so genuinely thrilled to be near his people that he has been known to get so excited during a good petting session that he ends up underfoot on the leash walk. He means well, he just really loves you. Boone knows sit, is quiet and calm in his crate, crate trained when on a schedule and is currently working on his housetraining. He is a smart boy and with consistency he will get there. Squeaky toys are basically Boone's love language, and he is happiest when he has a good squeak toy in his mouth, a dog friend to play with, and a human nearby ready to deliver belly rubs on demand. He is good with other dogs and friendly with strangers, and would do best in a home without cats. Boone would thrive in an active home with a fenced yard where he can burn off that glorious puppy energy and then come inside for the snuggles he so deeply deserves. He is young, enthusiastic, healthy, and has an absolutely enormous amount of love to give. If you are ready for a joyful, affectionate, and squeaky-toy-obsessed hound boy to join your family, text AARF at 931-260-8018 or visit www.aarf-tn.com today!  Interested in adopting? THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. June 13, 2026, 9:50 pm

Story
Meet Ziggy. This 4-year-old, 57-pound pup is likely a Foxhound/Cattle Dog mix who came to us from another regional shelter after being found as a stray. Ziggy has a classic hound voice—he’ll let out a signature bay when he gets excited—but what really stands out is how much he loves people. He’s incredibly affectionate, a total wiggle-butt, and never misses a chance to give kisses or even a standing hug. He takes treats gently and, while not a big foodie, is still motivated enough to enjoy training time. Ziggy already knows “sit” and “paw,” and he’s 100% housebroken. He rides great in the car and has done really well in a foster home. He’s friendly with strangers and seems to enjoy canine company as well. He would likely do great with kids and can be cat tested if needed. He’s not a fan of the kennel and would much rather be out with his people. He can be a bit strong on leash and has been known to do some counter surfing, but he responds well to correction and will benefit from continued structure and training. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Ziggy could be your perfect match. Apply at lvpeaceablekingdom.info. Peaceable Kingdom, PA Kennel License #04131, 1049 MacArthur Rd., Whitehall, PA 18052.   June 13, 2026, 3:59 pm
