Story
Lincoln is a 2 year old redbone coonhound! Lincoln is the mushiest and goofiest sweetest boy. He was bought as a hunting dog and his hunting partner recently passed unexpectedly and Lincoln is ready to be a couch potato. He has NO aggressive tendencies, loves other dogs, kids and is friendly with cats and other animals. He has been around horses, sheep, pigs and chickens. He is a gentle giant. His house skills need some touch ups but I’m sure he’ll learn quickly. He’s okay on a leash but is used to simply tagging along. Lincoln is a mid- maintenance dog. He was born with some shoulder defects that began showing at about 1 year old. He is not on any medication. Vet doesn’t believe surgery would be helpful but thinks that it may cause him some discomfort. There is no way of knowing how/ if at all these defects will affect him as he gets older. A couch to sleep on, and a yard to lay out in the sun would be best for him and we would love to help him find that home!

Born: April 26, 2025 I am seeking my forever home! Adoption Donation: $550 My litter includes: Boomer and Dinky Introducing Boomer! He’s a stunning Redbone Coonhound/American Foxhound mix with a heart as big as his floppy ears. Boomer may have limited vision; one eye has no sight and the other only partial, and he may also have hearing loss. But none of that slows him down or dims his joyful spirit! The vet says he’s perfectly comfortable and can live a happy, normal life. Boomer is a cheerful, loving boy who’s ready to share endless hugs and affection with a family of his own. Could you be the one to give this special sweetheart the forever home he deserves? All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. This is Jade! This darling girl would love to enjoy the comforts of home and leave our rescue in Arkansas. She is 2-3 years old. Jade has a high prey drive, so she can’t cohabitate with cats. She is good with puppies, but really prefers to be by herself. She is ok with male dogs, but would really just like to be left alone to watch the squirrels. She is very sweet.
