BackgroundRomi was rescued from a city pound in Gwangju, Korea in January 2026. Since then, she has been living with other dogs at our partner boarding house.Personality and SocializationRomi is a sweet girl who is gentle, loving, and friendly. She may be a little shy for the first 30 minutes, but she warms up quickly and becomes very affectionate. She loves both men and women and enjoys being close to her people. She is also very smart and learns new things quickly.With other dogs, Romi gets along very well. She is gentle, submissive, and friendly, and enjoys being around calm, kind dogs. As long as other dogs are not too dominant or aggressive, she is happy to spend time with them.Romi has not met cats or young children yet, but with slow and proper introductions, she will likely do well.BehavioursRomi is well mannered and easy to care for. Even though she is still young, she has a calm, medium energy level and is very easy to be around. She walks well on leash and likes to follow her person. She handles vet visits and bath time very well and has a very gentle, submissive nature.She does her potty outside, rarely barks, and is calm indoors. She has not shown any signs of separation anxiety and enjoys playing with her toys.Health and DietRomi has completed all her veterinary checkups and is healthy and ready for her forever home. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on deworming and monthly parasite prevention.She eats dry kibble twice a day and has not shown any allergies.Ideal HomeRomi is a loving and gentle girl who would do well in many types of homes. She gets along well with both people and dogs, so she can be a great second dog or the only dog in the home.A home where someone is around often would be ideal, as she enjoys companionship and being close to her people. For more info about her or the adoption application, please follow the link below. https://www.freekoreandogs.org/dog/bentley/ ----------------------------------- Background: Bentley was rescued in December 2022 from a dog meat farm in Ganghwa, Korea. Since then, she has been living safely at our partner boarding house, where she has shared space with other dogs. She also spent time at our manager’s home alongside both cats and dogs, though the two were mostly kept separate. She is now living with another Korean rescue dog in a foster home in Delta, BC. Personality & Socialization: Bentley is a gentle and affectionate girl with a medium energy level. She loves being close to her humans, enjoying snuggles and quiet companionship. With other dogs, she does well as long as they are calm and friendly. She isn’t a fan of pushy or overly dominant dogs and prefers her space when needed, but as long as others respect her boundaries, she gets along just fine. Behaviors: Bentley is a wonderfully easy companion. She is quiet, rarely barks, and has shown no destructive behaviors. She is well-mannered at the vet, during car rides, and even bath time. On walks, she follows her human’s lead beautifully and enjoys exploring at a relaxed pace. Health & Diet: Bentley is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. She has been dewormed, takes monthly parasite preventatives, and has passed a full veterinary checkup with no health concerns. She has shown no signs of allergies and enjoys her dry food meals twice a day. Ideal Home: Bentley would thrive in a calm and loving home with a family experienced in caring for larger dogs. A quiet house with a fenced backyard would suit her best, rather than a busy condo setting. She would love to be with someone who is home often—whether retired or working from home—so she doesn’t spend long hours alone.
