Story
Charlie is a 5 year old mix between a Rhodesian Ridgeback, Shar-Pei and Pit, she loves to be in the company of people, she love attention and to be pet. She is extremely smart is treat motivated, meaning she can be trained very easily. She sleeps most of the day on her bed, but loves walks around the neighborhood, playing with her squeeker toys, hikes, the beach and playing fetch at the park. Charlie would thrive with an active owner who loves the outdoors and car rides. She also loves playing with other dogs. Charlie stays up-to-date with her veterinary checkups and vaccinations, but also suffers from skin allergy reactions to certain foods. As a result she takes a pill every morning to help counter-act the side effects of her allergies, if left untreated for even a day she will develop itchy bumps on her skin and ear infections. She also can be uneasy around younger children (5-12 yo) as she seems to have a slight distrust towards them.

*Courtesy Post* Currently in North Park. Gemma was abandoned and picked up. She is spayed. We believe she is about 1.5-year-old. She is good with dogs and people. I have not seen her around cats or kids but she is such a calm, sweet girl that I don’t predict any problems. She will eat anything in front of her and loves to chew on toys and lounge on laps. Come and meet our sweet, smart, playful fur girl "Juniper". She is one of the puppies of our litter we had with mama Ellie. Juniper and Aspen are the only 2 left. ADOPTION EVENT: Saturday 1018/25 from 11 am to 3: pm = we will have a bake sale, and pre-loved and some new books for fundraising to built our Sanctuary. Juniper will be there looking for her forever loving home. at Grossmont Center Mall - Space #30 in between Macy's & Panera. Juniper is 5 months old now; she is a hybrid blend of Rhodesian ridgeback & Labrador inherited by father; as mama is a different breed. These sweet babies have had a rough start to life, and now their safety is at risk. Mamma Ellie came to us after being abandoned at our sanctuary by her former owners; pregnant, scared, and mistreated. She gave birth safely to five beautiful puppies: two girls and three boys. Sadly, when the pups were about 5½ weeks old, those same former owners returned, not for Ellie, but to take one of her puppies. Despite our warnings that the pup was too young, weak, unvaccinated, and might possibly die they forcefully took him anyway, saying, “I don’t care.” Now, we are deeply concerned they may come back for the others. We need to find a loving, secure foster home(s) for the four remaining puppies as soon as possible. These little ones are everything puppies should be: playful, cuddly, and full of joy. All they need is a safe place to grow and be loved. If you can open your home, even temporarily, you could help save their lives. Donation Adoption fee includes being spayed/neutered and she has all her 3 core puppy vaccines, dewormed and a complementary health check up at our participating vet clinics.
